The Schloss inside was very diappointing. Luckily the Tiergarten and Gloriette were wonderful. Too bad the Palmenhaus was not included in the Vienna Pass and costed too much for what it was. Dinner in der Tafelspitz was basic, but delicious. The Konzert was enchanting, I loved it, but corona regulations could have been better and lots of people were talking and filming. We booked dinner and concert well in advance and we had a Vienna Pass and still it was extremely time consuming to pick up our tickets, find the right desk and finally get inside the Schloss.I paid for the triple event tickets online in advance and they were ready for collection at the Orangerie on the morning of our visit. I paid for the triple event tickets online in advance and they were ready for collection at the Orangerie on the morning of our visit. Having collected the envelope I then had to cross the road and find the group Ticket office to exchange our Palace ticket for what turned out to be the official Palace ticket! I specifically asked for confirmation at the Orangerie that we could go into the Palace for the tour at any time during the day as this had been specifically mentioned in the letter which was with my tickets and was told yes. At no point did anyone say we had a timed Tour. So, we went to the carriage museum, up to the Gloriette for lunch then to the zoo before going in to the Palace where we were told that we were 5 hours late! Thankfully the Palace was quiet that afternoon and we were allowed in. Meal was a tad disappointing as the 3 course meal was in fact a set menu with no choices for any of the courses - one choice of starter, one main and one dessert, Thankfully we liked all three! What we weren't made aware of was that Palace closes at 5pm as do most other places within the palace grounds which meant we had to wait until just after 6pm to be able to go into the restaurant for dinner. The concert was lovely and in great surroundings. We enjoyed the whole day very much but could have done with a bit more info in advance of our visit.Nice audio tour and great concert. Dinner was rather simple and not enough value for money. Therefor average

A fabulous opulent palace well worth seeing. Audio tour was informative, but my headset didn't work and had to share my husbands. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely, but set menu and no choices. Bit of a faf collecting tickets - why they can't be all in one place instead of spread out so much is maddening and a long walk in between each.
