This tour was truly wonderful. If you want to know about modern Greek history, street art and the anarchist movement the guide is very knowledgeable and brings these things to life completely. The choice of places we visited were unusual and fascinating and the way this was structured really brought history to life and a neighbourhood, too. This is such a different and worthwhile tour and highly recommend it if you have some time in Athens to explore real life and another side of things away from ancient ruins. The "Other Side" of Athens is a must see for travelers interested in the localized and recent history of Greece and its capital. The "Other Side" of Athens is a must see for travelers interested in the localized and recent history of Greece and its capital. Our guide (Agatha) gave us incites we could have not learned on other tours and provided us with a relaxing and enlightening morning. We highly recommend the tour - especially for those travelers who have had their fill of ancient ruins and 2500+ year-old history factoids. What's happening now in Athens? How are people living and building lives today? Agatha also gave us some great eating tips as we ended the tour. Thanks so much!A fascinating tour with my wonderful guide Agathi. Do not miss this tour if you are interested in Greek social and political history and great street art
