excellent service, nice view, welcoming staff with live music and dance performance, we enjoyed it, good for tourists
The ship was the “vintage” version (not the modern version), and was like a SAUNA inside. I spent most of the trip outside with my umbrella to escape the atrocious heat. Bartenders were overworked but lovely.
I didn’t enjoy as it was very long, cold and boring! You advertise it as 1 hour yet it was almost 3. Would not recommend.
A pleasant evening cruise on the Danube where you see all the main sights & bridges lit up. You can sit inside or go up on deck to take photos as you slowly pass by.We bought drinks on board & were serenaded by the three piece band. You can buy food as well but not much choice. All in all a lovely way to spend the evening.
We went for the welcoming drink and cruise ticket as we just wanted to see the sights from the river. For the price you can’t really go wrong, the drinks on board weren’t great and it did seem to go on for a bit to long but seeing Budapest lit up is what it’s all about.
Lovely cruise to see the major sights at night from the river. Only disappointing thing was you are sat inside and there is only 1 outdoor space, on 1 side of the boat, to take your pictures so can get crowed. But the atmosphere was great and was good for the price
We paid for the drinks package which included 3 beers or 2 cocktails. This was a rip off - the beers were half full and the cocktails were watered down rubbish. When we arrived we got given seats downstairs in the back of the boat. You couldn’t see anything at all. The windows were so dirty with fingerprints that you couldn’t see out. Thankfully, the saving grace is that you can go out and stand on the terrace for the entire time (luckily we had the weather for it) so that’s exactly what we did. Tip: just go with the basic package, stand on the terrace and enjoy the sights.
Unfortunately we didn’t get on the cruise as the directions given were wrong and we were unable to find the boat. We asked a number of other vendors where the cruise was leaving from and they hadn’t heard of it.
If you arein Budapest for a night or two an after dark river cruise is very much a must do, and this one is as good as any. It takes in all the major sites with plenty of opportunity for photographs. Thereare cruises which co the whole experience including a meal, or this which just provided drinks. Yourchoice but either way the experience is not to be missed If it is the first nightofa longer cruise it is a good wayto break the ice!
Great if you're perhaps a little older or you get a good seat outside. The boat interior is old, and slightly dingy whilst the alcohol used in the cocktails really isn't great. A little long of a journey if anything.
Excellent value for money, get your first drink sit outside and enjoy the views, then get your second and third drink, great experience and fabulous views of the major buildings, including Parliament and Buda Castle.
For under $10 we enjoyed an idyllic outdoor seat on a gentle 2 hour cruise with indoor music playing either side of the large vessel and a well stocked bar. Breathtaking scenery & architecture throughout the Budapest cityscape along the Danube.
I booked this cruise hoping for a romantic dinner. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The dinner rooms were very fancy and well looked after. The staff were very attentive and would serve us at the table. The violinists playing were very skilled and played some beautiful music. With affordable food and drinks, this experience was amazing value for money and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a romantic dinner.
This was the same as the dinner cruise it us just the option that doesn’t include dinner. There were not enough seats for people outside and we left 40 minutes late and returned 20-30 minutes late. You do get a welcome drink which is a glass of sweet wine. The boat moved very slowly and it seemed other boats were moving past us at a much faster pace. The views at night are beautiful and I do recommend doing a nighttime cruise but not via this company.
It was a nice experience to see the beautiful buildings from the river. The wine tasting was nice as well. Just felt the employees were not very friendly/a little rude. Also I picked the evening cruise thinking the lights on the buildings would be on by then, but it was still to early so the lights actually did not come on till the cruise was almost over. Wish the timing of the cruise was adjusted based on the time of year/when sunset would be.
Warm welcome on boarding, beautiful music, well looked after by Csaby looking forward to a second trip. Highly recommend
It was nice, but the music was loud, the wine was very average and it was all inside so hard to see the views. Wish I had done more research.
My daughter and I had a fabulous time on the evening cruise on the Danube with wine tasting and the classical orchestra. The view from the boat was stunning, we went from day light to night where most buildings were lit up and looked beautiful. The orchestra were amazing, very attentive and excellent musicians. I highly recommend this trip, I can’t wait to return to go again.
This is worth doing. It be mindful it takes about 2hrs and drags a bit as the boat is a little slow. Plenty to see and staff onboard very helpful. There is a bar onboard with a decent range of drinks. We didn’t eat so can’t comment on the food. This is a pretty good river cruise. It is not a boat trip. It is an evening cruise
We booked through Trip advisor; easy location to board the boat. The boat was enclosed (no out door viewing). Perfect 360 panoramic view with optional audio. Took a evening trip which was lovely seeing the city lit up.
