Be sure to ask for Andreas. He picked us up very promptly at the Cruiseport and we were off on our adventure. He is the unofficial mayor of Tarquinia and knows every nook and cranny. The underground city of the Etruscans was absolutely amazing. You will be so surprised and love it! We continued with a walk of the walled town of Tarquinia seeing what a delightful town it is. He narrated our entire trip. We took a quick side trip to the salt flats used for research and enjoyment by the locals. We are foodies and our lunch at a small local restaurant with it’s six courses and wine was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the price of the tour. Our tour guide (Andrea) made the tour exciting. He lived in Tarquinius and was able to make the village and sites come alive. His love of the area was evident... the Tombs were a sight to see...we ended the tour with a wonderful lunch and conversation.... highly recommend
