Ebano Waterfalls and Rainforest Safari Tour
Overview
In the trip, the client will have the opportunity to see wildlife such as birds, frogs, and monkeys, also many types of plants, flowers, and trees. The transportation is in a comfortable and safe 4x4 Safari style Truck - the best tool to travel the 10km / 6.2 miles through the big mountains.
The perfect end is to refresh us and swim in the Jade Waterfall, also enjoy next to the river, a Costa Rican authentic lunch wrapped in banana leaf. All in a small group, with the company of local experienced guides committed with client service.

Stop At: Hacienda Ebano, Hotel Natuga, Baru 11909 Costa Rica
Visit Ebano Natural Reserve, hiking of 1.6 km / 1 mile in a beautiful path through the Rainforest. We will see five streams and cross 2 bridges, also will have the opportunity to appreciate wildlife such as colorful frogs, birds or monkeys among others (depends on season and animals behavior), also wide biodiversity, such as tropical plants and huge trees. At the end of the trail is the Ebano Waterfalls, a double waterfall hidden in the Rainforest. The first waterfall has a pool of 13 feet / 4 meters deep, it's a huge hole in a one-piece rock, which the water through hundreds of years made it, it's safe for a swim and deep enough to jump from 8 meters / 26 feet. The second waterfall has a wider pool, with a depth from very low to 2 meters / 6 feet, perfect for families with kids.

Nothing but great things to say about this place ! This experience was AMAZING!!!! We were guided by the gentleman who I think owns the property, and another guide from jade tours. Went on 6/28. From the pick up, to the hospitality, to the food. Everyone was so kind. They took picture of us. Let us explore everything. We stopped at an amazing view, they gave us coconut water, had my husband jump off a cliff into the water, and to top it off we swam in the jungle and had an amazing lunch after. Hands down one of the BEST experiences here. Cannot recommend it enough. This really was an off the beaten path tour that allowed us to be able to explore Costa Rica in a different way. Anyone who is in Costa Rica would love this experience. I felt so safe, and felt like I was not even a bother. They really showed remarkable hospitality!!!Probably the best tour I’ve been on. We were staying in the cloud forest in Costa Rica, and looking for some tours to do. I came across Hacienda Ebaño and Cesar, and glad I did. He was easy to contact, and we negotiated everything thru WhatsApp (506-8624-5757). He sent a car to pick us up (even though it was a bit farther than normal). It was just my wife, son and I when we arrived, and even though we paid for the regular safari tour, this guy gave us the full experience….Cesar was super knowledgeable, and treated us like gold. As we toured through the 300 acres of land he has. The lunch by the waterfall was incredible, and he stopped every time we saw an animal. Just an all around great person and experience…..even if I’m on the other side of the country, I would come back to Hacienda Ebaño for another visit. 10 star rating if I could.
