Black Santa was superb. Anyone looking for a compact, short tour into Nairobi National park, this is perfect. We squeezed this in during a work trip, and it couldn’t have been better.

What a wonderful experience! Our guide was just great. From his warm, friendly early morning greeting, to his extensive knowledge throughout the tour, his cheerful manner and his 100% commitment to making our day such a memorable one.

Sam is an amazing, knowledgeable guide, we got along very well, I enjoyed his enthusiasm and professionalism to show and tell me as much as possible, without rushing, he enjoys what he does and makes you do too! You feel like part of nature and his friend, not like a tourist. Worth every minute!

This was my second tour with Perfect Safaris and the second time that Black Santa was the guide (I went solo to Amboseli with him few days prior). Incredible day out, we’ve seen a lot of animals that Santa was very knowledgeable about, he was patiently waiting for us to have a good look and take a lot of pictures, and I think except for leopard we’ve seen all the animals in the park (no elephants live in this park). Later we went to the elephant orphanage center which in itself was an amazing experience and Santa took us to Masai community center and a very nice place for lunch after that. We had a very very nice day, thank you very much and thank you Santa once again for being a great guide, super professional and punctual and taking amazing care of us!

Black Santa; our guide was so knowledgeable about the animals, and the entire safari. He knew all the names and origins, he also knew where to find the Lions. When coming ask for the guide called Black Santa, he is super cool, he also took us to have lunch and showed us a few souvenir stores too.

The Tour was amazing. Our tourguide black Santa was very Funny and informative. He took his time to Show us thé best spots at thé Nationalpark .

This safari is a must in Nairobi. You will definitely see several rhinos and ostriches, among other animals. Tito, our guide, is amazing and very servicial.

Albert was an incredible guide - friendly, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to spend the morning with driving through Nairobi National Park. We encountered lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, ostriches, and even a cheetah! Among many other animals. I couldn’t have asked for a better morning safari!

George Mumba is an incredible, educated and amusing guide/owner of Perfect Safaris.. He seems to knows every bird and beast here, and knows where to find them. Saw more animals in 3 hours today at Nairobi National Park than some see in 3 days! I was amazed. I have done safaris in South Africa, and George surpassed all expectations. We saw dozens of species, Including both rare black and white Rhinos with young, a hypo grazing out of water, lion, zebra, Giraffe, cape Buffalo, ostrich, hyena, and many more. His Toyota land rover is a is huge vehicle with a pop up top to allow us to stand up and gaze over the whole park.

Fred was a great guide! He has been leading tours for 10 years and can spot hard to see animals in the early morning light. I did the safari in the morning, then the elephant center and giraffes in the afternoon. Since we still had time, Fred also took me to the Karen Blixen museum to end the day. As a solo female traveler it feels totally safe. The company also let me book with less than 24H notice. Very helpful and friendly, recommend!

Fantastic day seeing Kenyan wildlife. I was advised to start early at 6am to be at the national park for sunrise, which was well worth it. Thanks to Stephen’s great eye sight we saw all of the big 5, including a rare black rhino and leopard. At the park we visited the elephant orphanage which was really good. After the park we visited a great lunch spot and headed to the giraffe centre to feed the giraffes and get some photos. Stephen has been a fantastic host all day, helpful, informative and engaging. I would definitely recommend this tour!

We can't rave about this experience enough. Our guide (known as Black Santa for all that he does) was professional and friendly from the beginning. He was right on time picking us up from the hotel and gave us a full run down of what to expect from our day. When we arrived at the National Park, he took his time sharing so many details and information on the animals we were seeing. At one point, another safari vehicle let him know that they were tracking a lion, so he went out of his way to follow that trail to ensure we saw not one, not two, but THREE lions. He said some people go and don't even get to see one lion on their tour, so that moment was super special. Outside of the National Park, he took us to a local market run by the Masai tribe that was full of culture, has amazing souvenirs that we purchase and ultimately gave back to the community, which we loved. The next stop was the Elephant nursery which allowed us to get up close and personal with rescued orphan elephants. This was such a unique experience and something we will never forget. Finally, the tour ends at the Giraffe center where Black Santa helped us feed the giraffes. He gave us pointers on how to feed them and made sure to help us get the perfect angles for our photos. I'd also like to note that our guide kept checking on us as I was feeling a bit sick on the tour. He made it a point to check in, get us water, and also stopped on the side of the road to get fresh bananas to help ease the stomach pain. I can't express how AMAZING this experience was for us. It was truly an unforgettable day on our unforgettable vacation. Thank you so so much!

I cannot think of a better way to spend half a day. The safari in the park, followed by the elephant orphanage and giraffe center are all must-do's. They are absolutely magical. Plus, my tour guide (Black Santa) knew all the history and inside secrets--he found a lion hunting literally feet in front of us and knew which giraffe wouldn't head butt you. I've traveled a lot and this was my favorite kind of tour--personal, relaxed, and rich in local culture. It was a great day and I will definitely do another tour with Black Santa next time I am in Nairobi.

It was a great experience. Our guide knew where to go to find the animals. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the park and the tour. He able to spot and explain the different wild life seen on the tour. The ride was very comfortable and enjoyable.

Perfect ending to our trip - booked a private tour prior to our evening flight departure and everything was amazing! Our guide Sammy was simply the best and I don’t think our experience would have been so wonderful without him. Highly recommend this tour and this company for anyone looking for a flexible, accommodating and detail oriented experience.
