Excellent tour! Guide was very informative and enjoyed her job. Would recommend the tour for anyone who doesn't want to look up all the information themselves.

A bit disappointing that it was not skip the line to the cathedral - it turns out it is impossible to skip this line. Cathedral visit alone was a complete waste of money - you can just line up for free. But the remaining part of the tour was useful - you got an explanation of parts of the baptistry, and a whistlestop tour of the museum. The only bizarre bit was we didnt get into the crypt as part of this tour, we had to line up again just to see it later. So not a complete waste of money, but next time I would just buy a 20euro combo ticket and line up, with an audio guide from the internet or a good guidebook. Our family of four reserved The Duomo Complex Private Tour to see ALL of the Duomo's offerings, including the Baptistery and Museum. Our family of four reserved The Duomo Complex Private Tour to see ALL of the Duomo's offerings, including the Baptistery and Museum. The Skip-the-Line tickets are valid for 72 hours, which meant we were able to climb Giotto's Bell Tower and see the Cathedral at our leisure. We learned so much of its rich history from our guide, Elizabeth. Her command of the English language is excellent and she is very personable and expert, in all things Florentine. This tour was a highlight of our trip to Florence - I highly recommend it.DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE QUEUE JUMP OR GOING UP TO THE DUOMO VIEWPOINT. DO NOT GO ON THIS TOUR. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE QUEUE JUMP OR GOING UP TO THE DUOMO VIEWPOINT. We decided to leave the tour early (along with approx 14 of the other guests) because of the following reasons, we asked for a full refund via email but ACCORD have not yet replied. Our credit card is now dealing with the issue. 1) the initial headphones were not working due to the guides old and broken set, the second set also broke and the guide simply shrugged his shoulders. 2) Due to having no headphones we could not hear the guide and saw it pointless to continue. 3) the website advertised 'queue jump' but this was not the case, we joined their employee in the queue and waited 45mins to enter the (free) duomo- we saw this as false advertising and we are very unhappy with that the 1.5hr duomo trip included this queue time as part of their tour time! We simply stood silently in the queue and the guide gave us no historic facts or info - we just stood and waited!! 4) although our guide dealt with the headphone situation to the best of his ability we didn't not feel that his English was sufficient and as such we really struggled to learn anything from him. This was very frustrating as we did not want to be rude and leave but we did not want to continue. 5) I would like to add that their website states that we will climb the duomo, our guide told us that we did not have a reservation for this and we would have to miss out due to it being busy. We were under the impression that this was included in the price of our tour. Not the case. Stay away.Whenever you get a chance to take a tour that includes "Skip the Line", take it. Whenever you get a chance to take a tour that includes "Skip the Line", take it. It saves an hour or two waiting in the hot sun. While you can't technically skip the line for the cathedral, the tour company arranges someone to stand in line for you so your wait is only about 10 minutes. After the talk outside and the tour through the cathedral (great talk, amazing cathedral), the tour took us through the baptismal (no waiting) and then the museum of the Duomo next door (skipping the line). The museum is quite spectacular in itself. Summary: great tour, glad we took it.
