Patrick took a group of super jet lagged travelers in our University (students, family, friends) group and made us forget we had just staggered off the plane. Our energy rose because he was so engaging and showed wonderful and accessible things in our hotel neighborhood and also told us of great things to be found further on off the beaten path. A highlight of this tour was a stop at Sweny's -- the chemist shop featured in James Joyce's "Ulysses" and now a museum dedicated to all things Joycean. Each of us had a chance to read a passage from Joyce's master work -- particularly appropriate because we were reading the chapter where Bloom goes to Sweny's to buy lemon soap. Our walk was filled with humor and good photo ops and Patrick was really adept at making the experience feel very personal -- and a great introduction to Dublin. All in all, it felt very much like an insider's treat!

It was a nice tour and Patrick was a good storyteller. The tour had a few surpises that really surprised us. I can't say too much about this Dublin's Best Kept Secrets Tour, but i can recommend this tour to everyone

A group of us had just arrived from the U.S. when we met a guy named Patrick for a walking tour south of the River Liffey. We were tired and maybe a bit peevish at the start of our walk but, by the end, everyone was smiling. The change was all due to Patrick and his lovely sense of humor, as well as his deep understanding of Dublin, its geography, history, and culture. I highly recommend it.
