Make a stop at the traditionally recreated Madinat Souk for stunning photos of the iconic Burj Al Arab Hotel then drive onto the man-made Palm Jumeirah island, an incredible architectural marvel for a closer look at another icon, the Atlantis Resort. Continue along Jumeirah Beach, the picturesque palace and residential area of Dubai to a photo-stop at the famed Jumeirah Mosque. Next, head to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai. Pass the Al Fahidi Fort, the ruling family’s former residence and take an Abra (water taxi) to sail across Dubai Creek. Disembark at the Spice Souk where the fragrances of the orient come together then there is time to shop in one of the most visited sites of Dubai – the Gold Souk. Finally, your journey ends in the new heart of Downtown Dubai where you will see the magnificent Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

- Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.

Booked to do this tour on the day of arrival, after a night flight. So glad we did! We wanted to get the best out of our first day and it was a perfect solution. The collection was punctual and we were taken by a small mini bus to a larger a/c coach. The guide was very informative throughout the...

The collection was punctual and we were taken by a small mini bus to a larger a/c coach. The guide was very informative throughout the trip… lots of stops and opportunities for pics. But at mid afternoon it was extremely hot and there was hardly a soul in sight until we went on the souk… which it a must! Really enjoyed the little trip on the boat across the Creak. Found the prices at the spice market ridiculously high, as it’s easy to get carried away but the guide did warn you to offer half price. Would definitely recommend to do this trip. Be prepared to be hassled at the Souk by all vendors.Isaac_Z

Tour was good...just wish they could have added a few more stops. Maybe more stops on Jumeirah island and even stop at the frame.

I booked this trip with my mum and sister. We really enjoyed this half day city tour of the old Dubai and new Dubai with Hussain as our tour guide. Hussain was so attentive and patient with us, he had a great deal of knowledge about the history of Dubai! Hussain really made our trip so memorable...
