Sophia was our guide, very educated (life long Porto local) about the area and communicated well. We would definitely use her as our guide again.

Tiago was absolutely incredible!! He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and it was honestly the best tour I have ever had. Everything he explained to us was so easily digestible. Would recommend to everyone it is the best experience!!

Amazing day! Got out of Porto for a day and traveled to the Duoro valley area. Very knowledgeable and professional and fun tour guide! In trying to squeeze in a lot there were a few times we felt rushed but understandable considering all that was there to enjoy and take part in. We had beautiful weather which made for beautiful pics! Thanks for helping make lifelong memories for my family!

My husband and I had a most excellent day while on this tour. Our guide, Alex, was wonderful--personable, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We drove through beautiful scenery to reach the appointed tasting stops while learning a lot from Alex about the region, the towns and of course, wine. The first wine-tasting was at 9:15 am. A first for us but, naturally, it set a good mood for the day! There is appropriate food at each intriguing stop to accompany the wines, ending with a good lunch and more wine. We opted to take the river cruise. It was relaxing and an interesting way to view the terraced vineyards. It was a great day and a highlight of our trip to Portugal.

My sister and I just returned from a wonderful trip to Porto and this was definitely a highlight. Tiago was very knowledgeable, patient and personable. Our group consisted of the two of us (English speakers) and a French speaking family. Tiago spoke back and forth in both languages seamlessly and didn’t miss a beat! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We visited 3 different wineries and stopped at a beautiful church and gorgeous overlook of the Douro Valley. My sister and I chose to do the river cruise which was scenic and relaxing. The lunch after at our last stop was delicious and we ended the day with a port tasting. I’d definitely recommend doing this tour if you are in the area and want to see some of the highlights of the Douro Valley. Thanks Tiago!

Pedro was an excellent tour guide. He was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable. Throughout the tour, he was personable and willing to interact with everyone in the group. He made sure we returned back to the city center in time to catch our flight, which we greatly appreciate. We would highly recommend Pedro for this tour.

Pedro is an excellent guide and created a customized tour for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. We had 3 wine tastings, olive oil tasting, snacks and a delicious lunch overlooking the Douro River and valley. Pedro shared so much knowledge of Portugal, Porto and the Douro plus was able to answer our questions. He also timed our various stops to minimize traffic and large numbers of people. In terms of the tour itself, the river cruise is not great. There is no explanation of what you are seeing, the wireless connection to listen to explanation didn’t work consistently and we had just as nice views from the car. In retrospect, I would skip the cruise and spend time in some of the villages exploring the shops.

Tour was versatile and very well organised. Pedro was an excellent guide. Views were stunning. Mandatory to everyone who visits Porto for more than a day. Do not miss the boat tour. Definitely our Porto's visit highlight.

The trip with Pedro to the Douro Valley was the highlight of our week in Porto. He is a superb guide and personalised the day. We stopped multiple times for photo opportunities and for breakfast and lunch, and port tasting . The river cruise was relaxing and scenic. The restaurants chosen were excellent with stunning views. I can recommend Pedro and this trip to anyone who wants to explore the Douro Valley. It’s an exceptional experience!
