Overview
Join us and explore Thailand’s highest peak – Doi Inthanon National Park. The best time to visit is during December to February for cool climate and you will get a chance to see the blossom of Siamese sakura flowers all over the area. You will follow the nature trails in the park providing different views of the diversity of plants, reforestation, hilltribe agriculture, the origin of caves and bird watching. It will take approximately 2 hours for the trekking together with our local guide. Be amazed with the beautiful scenery on the mountain top and make a memories that last a lifetime during your holiday in Chiang Mai.

We had a wonderful time on this tour! So nice to get out of the city for a bit and see the beautiful park and natural setting. Our guide was very informative and took us on a lovely day and hike through the park. Overall, really relaxing and nice outdoor experience.

I know it cost a lot but it is a personalized tour. They allow you to slow down if you need. Bring your beach clothes and a towel. If you have beach shoes bring too. There is a beautiful waterfall that you can swin. This tour will take all day. I highly recommend it.Julia_R

The walk through the park with a local was the highlight, passing through habitat for gibbons, waterfalls, local farms and learning about what the land can provide. Would highly recommend. I like to visit places on my own but Doi Ithanon is about 90 min from Chiang Mai and not that easy to get to without a tour. But I am so happy I booked this tour! It was such a great experience. Two guides picked me up promptly at 8:30 at my hotel. Both so warm & friendly -- with a really fun sense of humor. I knew immediately that I was in great hands with them. Easy drive out of Chiang Mai -- the car is really nice & clean, and they are really thoughtful about stopping at clean restrooms and offering water. First stop — Wachirathan Waterfalls. Beautiful place to take some photos and enjoy the scenery. Next stop -- hiked the Pha Dok Siew Nature Trail. Local guide joined us. I did the hike easily in tennis shoes. Beautiful nature trail -- lots of greenery, more waterfalls. The guide does a really great job sharing stories about the local history & culture -- while also balancing the quiet and enjoying the nature around you. It's such a beautiful place to enjoy. Ended the hike at a coffee farm. My guide shared that this is one of the many government’s investments (Royal Projects) in this area — to grow coffee, avocados and other resources. (Later at the airport, I saw a sign for Royal Projects store and had such a better understanding and appreciation for what that meant). We had fresh coffee, and headed to a delicious lunch. Next stop: highest elevation in all of Thailand. It was cold! I couldn’t believe it. I’ve never felt cold temperatures here. My guide continued his storytelling which I won't spoil but was so much fun! Next stop: King & Queen’s pagodas (surrounded by beautiful gardens). Erected in honor of their 60th birthdays. Another beautiful place to take photos and take in the beautiful forest and elevation around you. Bought fresh berries & coffee beans at a market on the side of the road. The strawberries were delicious, and I'm excited to give the coffee beans as a souvenir to my loved ones when I get home. What a fun day! I would never have experienced Doi Inthanon like this on my own. We shared stories all day. Laughed together. I had time on my own to enjoy the surroundings and came home with so many great pictures captured. Incredible day and such fun with my guides! Highly recommend to others who are visiting Chiang Mai!
