What a great 4-hour plus tour this is. Our guide, Gregor, an art history major, was the perfect compliment for showing us the key sights of Berlin and telling us about the history and meaning behind the various stops along the way. Gregor also recommended a German schnitzel restaurant that turned out to be a real winner. Highly recommend.

We take walking tours almost everywhere we go, but this was one of the best ones I've ever been on for two reasons: 1) we happend to visit Berlin during the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall, so the city was extra vibrant and informative, and 2) we had literally the best, most captivating, funniest, and informative tour guide ever! I know this sounds like an overstatement, but I learned and retained so much information from Tobi. He was super helpful, knew all the questions we had, and also gave us so much personal information about his experience as an East German - it made the tour extremely unique and unforgettable. If you go on this, I sincerely hope you get Tobi. He was amazing. He gave us a break and the tour ended exactly on time. This was worth every cent, and much much more.

My husband and I enjoyed seeing the highlights of Berlin. There was light rain, but it did not affect the walking tour. We were prepared by bringing umbrellas. The guide was good at seeking shelter when he would provide explanations of the sights.

One of the best tours I have ever done. Our guide Scott was knowledgeable and took on a fascinating route round Berlin. The tour concentrated on "East" Berlin and navigated some of the most challenging pieces of Berlin's history but also championed it's history of religious tolerance and diversity. Worth every penny. Do it at the start of your trip so you can aprecise the context in which you are seeing the city during your stay.

My husband and I are only in Berlin for 3 days so we were very pleased with this tour, as we were able to see almost all of the historical sites within a span of 4 hours. Our guide Jake was fantastic! He was engaging, informative, and kept the group’s interest going. If you are a first timer to the city and looking for a great way of learning about Berlin’s past, then I strongly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!

We had this tour on October 17th PM. Due delayed flight arrival, we were a bit late for the meeting point but managed to catch up the group with kindest and patient navigation from the company's office (thank you!). The guide was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He replied to all individual questions in full, at the same time taking care of the group moving through the dense touristic and not only spots. We apologize for not grasping the gentlemen's name (the "bold" one, as he commented on himself), but would thank ever so much for each and every moment of this tour time and would definitely recommend it to others.

4 hour walking tour led by Kyle. Covered a lot of ground in both west and east Berlin. We were a group of 30 but Kyle was available to all for questions or just a chat. Recommend for anyone looking for a good introduction to Berlin’s complex history

Our tour guide was fabulous and made our trip worthwhile. A huge THANK YOU to Jake. His passion and energy were infectious for all the right reasons. He was also very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour and you could see that he truly loves Berlin too. This is the first trip I have ever done like this and would definitely consider doing more in the future.

Kevin was a passionate, extremely well-informed guide. We learnt not only many facts but were guided to consider our own perspectives and question the outcome of history on the present. A truly thought-provoking experience. Thank you Kevin.

Jake was an excellent tour guide whom we would highly recommend! His tour from the Hackescher Markt , through Museum Island, to the Brandenburg Gate, the Holocaust Memorial along the Berlin wall and ending at Checkpoint Charlie was filled with historical information that helped to put Berlin through the centuries in context for the tour group!

This tour covered all the major tourist attractions in Berlin. Sam W. (The tour guide) gave us much insight into all the strife in Berlin since WWII. He made us a few a part of the history of each attraction. When he interjected his own thoughts, he made it clear that it was his perspective, which we loved hearing. The tour is a lot of walking and standing, so wear comfortable shoes.

My friend and I did this tour. Our tour guide was called Robert. He was passionate, fun and was easy to listen too. This tour is a great way to see Berlin and check out the main points. There is so much history and amazing things to see. If you don't have much time in Berlin I would strongly recommend this tour.

Gregor was an incredible guide! His knowledge was deep and he was able to answer every question we had. He also took the tour a step deeper to really draw out the emotions and influences of the city. We started our Berlin trip with this tour and it was the best way to begin!

Our tour guide Alex was so engaging as he related Berlin's history, answered all questions, and offered recommendations for food and sightseeing. The pace was accommodating to all age groups, and he found great locations to keep us out of the rain while still viewing the subject areas. We highly recommend this tour as a starting point to learning about Berlin, as it will provide incredible insights as you tour other sights. Thanks also for recommending Curry 61, it was indeed the best!!!

Our guide was Izzy and she is English and gave the best walking we have ever been on in any city and we've done a few now. We got to cover all the major sites and her diction is so clear and her depth of knowledge of the city's history, both ancient and modern, is amazing. I have to thoroughly recommend this Walking Tour.

Had a great walking tour of Berlin with Kyle. She started by giving, as she put it, "800 years of German history in eight minutes," and did a great job of that. She was very knowledgeable on the subject, with perfect English - she grew up in the US and Scotland. We then walked by many of the great landmarks of Berlin, including many from the Nazi years and Soviet years in East Germany. It ended at the Great Wall and Checkpoint Charlie.

This half day walking tour through Berlin is well worth the time and money. Our guide, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable about German history and provided visuals with maps and pictures as he was conducting the tour. The time went quickly for the distance we covered. Definitely an adult tour...children would have been very bored.

Our guide Alexi, did an excellent job showing us many of the key historical sites of Berlin. Alex is native American but he is fascinated with German history and relocated in Berlin, 10 years back. His view are very analytical and his knowledge of life under the East German communist government added a lot to the tour. He was very giving of his time and knowledge and answered all our questions thoughtfully. A wonderful introduction to an absolutely fabulous city.
