Meet your horse and ride along the majestic Deschutes River stopping for photos. Ride an hour to Aspen Meadow the return ride with a whole different angle on the river views.

Very good horses! Well trained and responsive. We road a trail along the River 90% of the time completely surrounded by pine tree forest. Wonderful!

We had a beautiful ride! I appreciated that safety came first. We were outfitted with helmets and a Hit-Air vest (it's like an airbag for your chest in case of an accidental dismount) The horses, Ty and Maverick, were sure footed and easy going. The ride was all within the forest and along the river, no open meadows. We sometimes shared the trail with some walkers their dogs. Along with the geographic history of the river and lava flows, we were treated to river views that went from rapids to calm. If you love horses and nature, I highly recommend Wilderness Horse Adventures!I had a wonderful ride through the high desert and saw some amazing rapids and high water on the river. The horseman was great and so knowledgable about the area. Thanks again. 5 stars.

Thanks again. 5 stars.I had a couple of days to myself and chose to wander down the river on horseback for 2 hours. It was absolutely wonderful! Vinnie is a caring guide. Maverick my horse was a confident mount. I hadn't ridden in a very long time. Was a very relaxing nature tour.
