Overview

The Death’s Door Bluff Kayak Tour is the perfect combination of serenity and adventure. On this tour, we see several of Door County’s secret spots including the Schooner Fleetwing Shipwreck, Native American Pictographs, rock cairns of Door Bluff County Park, the highest natural spot in Door County, and a view of Washington Island.

Because we meet at the launch site, no time is spent driving to and from the tour location, making this tour a great option for someone who wants to spend as much time on the water as possible. As this tour is located farther North on the Peninsula, it is beyond the travels of most tourists in Door County.

Inclusions

The tour was beautiful and satisfying. Our guide, Justin, was easy-going, knowledgeable, and encouraging. We had an opportunity to observe wildlife and to appreciate the natural rock formations. A kayak tour is a must-do activity while visiting Door County.

Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not good for Kayaking at our chosen location. They offered another tour pretty close by with no rough water. Everything was perfect, our guides Kacey and Paddelin Madeline were great. They got everyone involved in the trip, including the kids. Fun trip! ...

I think that my favorite part was seeing the shipwreck and hearing the stories about all the things we were able to see.
