We did two trips with Round Town Travel. Guadalest and Algar Falls the the trip to Valencia. What we loved: Guadalest is a beautiful town. We paid €4 to go in the castle which provided spectacular views. Two hours was just enough time to give us a lovely flavour. The trip to Valencia was great. Travel time went quick as Angela, our host, shared lots of local detail on the way. We did the walking tour which which was lightly informative and gave our us our bearings. We paid €8 euros to go in the cathedral which came with an audio tour. This was well worth it as so much to see including the Holly Chalice. We walked to the arts & science park along the old river for our pick up home (optional pick up here). We had about 5.5 hours in Valencia which was an ideal taster. We will certainly return. Angela, our tour for both trips, was great. Spoke excellent Spanish & English. Caring and attentive host ensuring everyone had the right information. Shout out for the excellent skilled coach driver too. Thank you Round Town Travel. We chose the tour based on our desire to see as much of Valencia as we could but finding it a challenge, transport-wise, from Calpe. The tickets were east to book, comms from the company were perfect, clear and quick. The bus arrived on time and each booking was pre-assigned seats which was a sensible thing to do with so many pick-ups. The journey was quick and straight to the heart of the Old Town. Separate additional tours are available during the visit (noon till 5pm) and these were explained and offered en route (payment by card or cash). We chose the guided walking tour with Sergio, lasted an hour and a quarter: perfect way to get a feel for further exploring that afternoon. It’s a beautiful city, yet had no tourists about 30 years ago we were told until the council and region decided to invest. We visited the UNESCO Silk Exchange which was stunning, the Market and a number of other buildings - so much to see. We spent 5 hours walking the Old Town and some of the nearby “river” park and covered 8.2 miles easily. Be aware of the lack of public toilets - cafes will rightly ask for a donation if you are not buying something and there’s always McDonald’s in one of the main plazas… which also needs a code for access, so you’ll need to buy a coffee at least. All in all, very smooth trip and the most cost-effective way to sample the delights of this marvellous city which very comfortable transport, a good driver (Harry) and a cheerful and knowledge guide (Lynn) who managed everyone’s experience with her professional knowledge. Highly recommended. My partner and I throughly enjoyed ourselves on this trip yesterday! Our tour guide Lynne was second to none! My partner and I throughly enjoyed ourselves on this trip yesterday! Our tour guide Lynne was second to none! She was organised, friendly and professional at all times and made the experience very relaxed and fun😊 The excursions/ plan of the day became clear on the journey to Valencia, we were able to purchase tickets on the coach, which was helpful! A special shout out to our coach driver Pedro, he was great and always on time! He was kind to ensure we entered and exited Valencia in two different ways so we saw more of the city! The coach was so clean and the air con was very effective and made for a comfortable trip! We look forward to our next holiday and trip to Valencia with RoundTown where we definitely plan to go to the famous aquarium in Valencia!

Tour guide on bus was angela very good at her job.
