Stop At: Temple of Philae, Island of Agilika, Aswan Egypt
After breakfast at your starting point in Marsa Alam your representative will pick you up to accompany you to Aswan for a fantastic tour to visit the superb Philae Temple which was built in honor of the Goddess Isis.
Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: Unfinished Obelisk, Sheyakhah Oula, Aswan Egypt
Then journey on to visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows how the ancient Egyptians cut the stone. It is believed this obelisk belongs to Queen Hatshepsut one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Aswan High Dam, Manteqet As Sad Al Aali, Aswan Egypt
Then proceed to the amazing High Dam an engineering miracle built in 1960 protecting Egypt from annual floods from the Nile.. We then break for Lunch at a quality restaurant in Aswan. After enjoying your lunch take a magical Felucca ride on the beautiful Nile before taking a relaxing drive back to your starting point in Marsa Alam.

We had such a great day!!. Despite the long drive (full 6 hours from our hotel), we enjoyed watching through the car window while crossing several Egyptian villages. Our driver did not speak English but we manage to practise our sign language skills. Once in Aswan we met with our tour guide, Moha...
We had such a great day!!. Despite the long drive (full 6 hours from our hotel), we enjoyed watching through the car window while crossing several Egyptian villages. Our driver did not speak English but we manage to practise our sign language skills. Once in Aswan we met with our tour guide, Mohamed, who was extremely kind and knew a lot about the Egyptian History. It was a pleasure to know this beautiful city, to visit one of the biggest dams all over the world, the Philae temple, of course a sailing experience over the Nile waters and to see the unfinished obelisque of Asuan. Unfortunatelly (or not) we will have to come back because we want to see more and we hope we can meet Mohamed again. The trip back home was long and mostly in darkness. Thanks to our great driver, we felt very safe and confident. Keep on the good work guys.Christophe_T

Vroeg opstaan (5u). Lange rit onderweg (6u rijden), geen tussenstops. Te laat bij aankomst, gids zat op ons te wachten. Doordat we te laat waren, was de rondleiding korter en konden we niet volop van onze uitstap genieten. Zelfs geen middageten gekregen die ons beloofd was door tijdgebrek. Het is...

Het is niet de moeite om zulk trip te maken voor 1 dag, beter 2 dagen zodat je tijd hebt om alles gezien te hebben. Maar ondanks alles, was de Tempel van Philae de moeite waard om het gezien te hebben! Maar hadden toch graag meer tijd gehad om alles gezien te hebben!!
