We had an excellent guide, Ilham who made our journey so interesting. He was great fun, polite and knowledgable. We would highly recommend him if you are looking for a good guide in the Sigiriya, Kandy or Ella regions.

Our guide Ilham was amazing, we wanted to focus on nature and he tailored the trip letting us visit the botanical gardens and spend more time where we wanted. Hugely knowledgable and friendly. Really made the day exceptional.

We really enjoyed the trip from Kandy to Nuware , the landscape will take your breath while driving towards the beautiful city, the beautiful bambo water falls was a great hike, another stop was the tea factory where you would see the process for making the different kinds of tea. We was lucky with the tour guide Mohamed Adhil, very respectful and honest man, picked us up from the hotel exactly on time, very knowledgeable with the country history and heritage sites. I highly recommend any one would visit Sri Lanka to take this trip and enjoy every minute during it.

Mr Adhil picked us up promptly at 08:00 at our designated location. With a smooth and comfortable drive we started off at a small tea factory, one of the oldest possibly. Our next stop was a picturesque tea plantation all en route to Nuwara Eliya. Next stop on the route was the Hanuman temple where my wife had enough time for prayer while I enjoyed the scenery overlooking the river below. Next on the tour was the waterfall, beautiful views after the hike up to the top ( be prepared for a bit of a cardio and legs day work out). Be sure to have comfortable shoes that can handle rocky surfaces, but I managed fine with flipflops. After the waterfalls we headed in to the town of Nuwara Eliya and enjoyed Indian cuisine lunch overlooking Gregory Lake, choice is all yours though. After lunch we made an additional stop at the Sita temple for more pooja then headed back to Kandy. Thanks to Mr Adhil for being so accommodating and including the additional stop of Sita temple on our itinerary. Great driver and conversationalist too. Highly recommend this tour, day well spent.

Adhil picked us up on time and before we started the ride we discussed the route and what our preferences would be. Adhil drove very responsible and careful, excellent English skills and huge knowledge about Sri Lanka and its history. We went to a smaller tea factory, hiked up on a waterfall, had a walk through the tea plantations and stopped at the most beautiful fruit booth to have fresh coconuts and bananas. Thanks again Adhil for the tour!

We were picked up promptly at 8h30 by our driver Adhil. We went to Kandy viewpoint and then drove on to Nuwara Eliya with several stops on the way: Hindu temple, waterfall, tea plantation with interesting guided tour and good lunch and visit to Nuwara. The landscapes were amazing. It was a very pleasant day thanks to Adhil who took his time to show us all the nice places. Adhil is an excellent driver and took good care of us. We booked the trip only the day before, communication with Aaliya was easy. Highly recommended!

Irfan was assigned to be our driver guide on our day trip to Nuwara Eliya. We had a good time as Irfan made it a point to understand and cater to our needs and preference. Irfan was very personable in his service. Besides covering the main sights, he also went out of his way to make little stops to buy the local snacks and fruits for us to try which made our trip more interesting. He was also very helpful with his advice on other places to visit during our three-day stay in Nuwara. Most of all, Irfan was a very safe driver and that made it a relaxing and enjoyable trip for us. We had a spectacular day with our guide Adhil. We were picked up at our hotel and got to pick and choose the activities and sites we visited. Adhil was accommodating, very friendly and informative and provided the perfect, relaxed atmosphere for the day. If you are going to visit the waterfall (highly recommend) take comfy walking shoes. Gregory Lake was our highlight (take something warm for this). Would highly rate and recommend this tour to friends!

We had a great trip. Our driver was very punctual and picked us up at our home stay in Kandy. We then drove to Gregory lake while making plenty of stops along the way to explore a tea factory etc. We asked our driver to drop us off at the train station at Nanu Oya so that we could take the train to Ella instead of going back to Kandy. Awesome experience!

The driver picked us up from our hotel as planned at 8 am and we head straight towards Nuwara Eliya. We stopped at all the stops except Gregory Lake as we'd spent too much time at the other spots ogling at the beauty that is Sri Lanka. The guide, Irfan, was very friendly and spoke broken English but could communicate with certain words and gestures. He advised us about restaurants and what to eat while in Nuwara Eliya. He helped us get discounts by talking to the local salesmen and also got us to taste local delicacies. All in all it was an amazing trip and I would advise this to anyone who enjoys a bit of serendipity and loves to take pictures. Irfan knows some of the best spots to get the best views without a crowd. Driving: 8/10 Conversation: 5/10 Knowledge in places: 10/10 Friendliness: 8/10 Would do again: 5/7 (for all you memers out there)

Me and my brother were chauffeured by Irfan from Aaliyah Tours in a full AC car. Irfan made the ride and sights absolutley delightful and pleasant. He took us to all the stops on the list as well as customized the experience based on our liking. We got to spend more time a see more places than we expected. He also help us barter to get a good deal on local items. Irfan drove very safe and stopped to show us amazing photo opportunities. Incredibly beautiful views, sights and experience. 10/10 would recommend again.

It was an amazing experience as i had travelled to nuwara eliya with my family.We were accompanied by Ilham from Aliya tours to Nuwara eliya and was very good driver. Guided us throughout. Altogether it was a very good experience.

I had Adhil as my driver/guide for the day, he was fantastic! The itinerary is exactly as advertised, and Adhil could not have been nicer or more accommodating in making sure that I got to see exactly what I wanted, if I needed anything at any time, or had any questions. As is typical with Sri Lanka, they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great time. The tea factory was VERY cool, but my favorite part was the waterfall - they'll let you hike up about 10 mins for beautiful views and Adhil took me to a super cool spot that none of the other tourists went to!! Highly recommend. AND, Adhil took FANTASTIC pictures of me EVERYWHERE. Thanks Adhil!!!!

We have used this tour maminky because of our way from Kandy to Ella and we did not expecting something amazing. But because of this tour we enjoyed great visit of the tea factory (all this area is surrounded by tea plantations) in Nuwara Eliya where we have learned how the tea is produced in the factory, how different kind of black and green tea is produced and in the end of this visit we got tea to taste. After that we visited the “England style” city Nuwara Elia which is worth to visit but because of the bad weather we have decided to take early train to Ella city. We can recommend this trip, the driver took us at interesting places and take care of us all the trip. I think this is very good way how to get from Kandy to Ella a see something interesting and nice during the way.

We booked our tour with Aaliya Tours and we were very lucky to have Azmi as our driver and tour guide. We booked him for a one day trip to Nuwara Eliya , he picked us from our hotel in Kandy on time , his vehicle was very comfortable and he drove safely the whole way. Azmi is very knowledgeable; he answered all our questions along the way and pointed out some major attractions along the way. He was willing to stop whenever we wanted to take photos or needed a break to stretch our legs.. In our way back he stopped and got us some fresh coconut and mangoes. We asked him to take us to local shops (non-touristy) as we wanted to buy some gifts to our families back home, we found some really good bargains, thanks to him. He has really gone the extra mile for us. We wish we had found him earlier when we first arrived in Sri Lanka. We highly recommend him for a nice and safe tour.
