Our small group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our tour! The driver and guide were prompt and professional, and they even worked out for us our request for an additional stop at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend this tour company for any sites in Egypt!
Our day was exactly as promised and more. Our guide Othman did everything possible to give us a fantastic day. Full of information, all entrance fees and lunch included, good lunch with a magnificent view of sea. We visited the catacumbs, library, mosque, citadel. The driver Moustafa was very nice, clean and comfortable car and very good and smooth driver. They both went out of their way to exceed our expectations. They invited us to have tea after lunch at a local place which was a great experience and they bought us snacks and water before dropping us at the hotel since I mentioned we had a very early flight the next day. I highly recommend this tour, specially with Othman and Moustafa.
Mara didnt really acknowledge info to Glenn more just to me. Seemed dis-interested and hence was rude
Awesome all day private tour of Alexandria with Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours! The private tour with Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours and Massimo as my guide was great. He made a number of suggestions for sites that I was previously unaware of and we got to see more than I expected. Traveling solo allowed for shorter stops and the opportunity to ask many more questions about sites than I would were I traveling with a group, and the private attentive and courteous driver also managed curbside service everywhere rather than seeking parking and hiking to sites. This being my first visit to Egypt and traveling solo I had some anxiety about security, etc. I discovered and experienced with my guide that the same attentively safe tourist security system is in place now as in previous decades and prior to the revolution. I felt extremely safe and enjoyed exploring so much of the local scene and sites with Egypt Tailor Made Day Tours. I especially enjoyed seeing the coast and exploring the catacombs, as well as an intimate tour of a beautiful centuries old mosque, the old and new sections of Alexandria, the Roman Auditorium Theatre and Cleopatras Bathhouse, as well as the amazing library. The tour included a lunch and I was given the opportunity for local or tourist food and was glad to have experienced the local Egyptian food scene with a variety of fresh caught seafood. I highly recommend the tour and especially because when it is private you really feel the personal attention and enjoy a level of flexibility that is not possible with a larger group. I was so satisfied that I booked another trip for the following day with Massimo to see some special sites outside of Giza. Egypt is a dream come true vacation destination!
