Boat ride was okay. Island is not worth the trip. Rental vehicle was too expensive. Will not be back.

I love Daufuskie Island. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and booked the wrong day. Tried to cancel via Viator. Their site was not responding. No phone number on site. I booked after the cancellation window so I list all of my money

The guys were very nice and made the journey enjoyable. Pointed out few things on the way. They obeyed the water way rules.

The boat departed on time in both directions. Boats seemed very safe, and the crew was personable. A good way to get to Daufuskie Island. One thing: the return time was earlier than advertised on the website, but we were fine with returning to HH Island earlier.

This was such an easy way for me to book my daufuskie day date trip with someone who had never been before! We had the best time! And everything went so smoothe! I will definitely be using Viator again for future bookings!

What a great time we had discovering the island. It was like traveling back in time. The people were great and Arden, our captain was very thoughtful and offered lots of insights as we crossed the water. I don’t think we learned as much as we would have had we taken a tour but we sure had fun, in spite of the rain!

The captain and his mate were a good team! Very interactive with quests and punctual. I will admit the ride was pretty rough given state of the roads on the island.

This experience was great, from booking it online easily to the trip itself! We had traveled to Dafuskie two years ago but left on a larger boat and from a much busier marina. Broad Creek Marina is easy to get to, less congested, and has plenty of parking. The crew was welcoming and clearly articulated safety measures. The boat ride to Dafuskie was approximately 35 minutes. The golf cart rental was easy and we enjoyed being able to create our own adventure. The boat left on time and the ride was comfortable. I highly recommend Island Head and will travel with them again when we return!

Awesome off-season trip to the island. Took the 9:00 AM trip over, rented a golf cart and did our own touring. Full day definitely worth it and we still didn't see everything! Lost our way several times and couldn't find some places. Play the larger than life Connect Four at the Daufuskie Island Distillery while enjoying a libation and some eats! We will most certainly be back!

I appreciated the concern of the company that the water was a little choppy so for the comfort of 9 customers they used a much larger boat than necessary. Very smooth ride as a result of this decision.

The Daufuskie ferry is a reliable way to see the waterway to Daufuskie and its surrounding environs. It does not dock at the main visitor enclave on Daufuskie, rather leaving travelers to walk or rent a golf cart. There are no services available on Daufuskie where the ferry lands.

My friend and I have wanted to do this outing for a while. This just happened to be the opportune time for each of us. From reservations, the night before, to check-in, the ferry to Daufuskie was fantastic! Captain, Arden, and his helper, Wes, were very accommodating. They even offered my friend and myself their personal jackets to make us more comfortable for the chilly ride to Freeport. We stopped along the way to view dolphins. I would highly recommend Island Head on Simmons Road for your ferry to Daufuskie!

Matt our boat captain was the best. We saw dolphins. Great trip on the ferry. Our golf cart ride was adventuresome. Bumpy too.
