Although the weather wasn't great, we enjoyed the tour very much! Nigel is very knowledgeable and we have learned a lot about Dartmoor throughout this trip. He is also very flexible to accommodate our request to modify the schedule.

Everything about the trip was fabulous from the moment Nigel picked us up from home. He took us on a grand tour of Dartmoor and his knowledge of the whole area was limitless. We could see the splendours of Dartmoor from the comfort of his Land Rover with historic narration by Nigel. He is very easy to chat with and ask questions - plus he always knew the answers! If you want a day out then I suggest a tour by Nigel is worth every penny - you will see the vast expanse of the moors, old churches, pubs for lunches and the endearing ponies, sheep and Highland cows. (I’m not forgetting all the bridges, Nigel!)From the moment Nigel picked us up to when he dropped us back we were in safe, caring and friendly hands. From the moment Nigel picked us up to when he dropped us back we were in safe, caring and friendly hands. Nigel combines great knowledge of Dartmoor with much enthusiasm and friendly demeanour. He was equally at home dealing with young children in child seats and the more elderly members of our 6 person extended family group. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Devon and Moor tours.
