as the sites are not very close to each other it was very useful. the food the drinks the comfort were all great
Great day, good length of time and it was very convenient to do both in one day. The entire day was a great pace, it was never rushed or too slow. The bus was super comfy and the group of 7 was perfect. Drinks and food were provided at exactly the right times and there was always a drink waiting after an activity.
Our tour guide Duc was excellent, his English was great. Duc was so motivated and you could tell he really enjoyed his job and what he was doing. Everyone was happy and enjoyed his humour and knowledge. I would definitely book another tour with Duc as the tour guide.
An excellent trip, the quality of the transport was great, our guide, Emily, was excellent and the experience and feeling for the Cu Chi tunnels (which I think will give the claustrophobic me nightmares, but also gave me some understanding of the amazing achievements of the Vietcong tunnellers to make a whole colony underground) gave us an amazing morning was followed by a trip into the Mekong which was far beyond what I expected from the trip description. Bees and honey production, meeting a python, a trip on the inner waterways of one of the islands, candy making etc etc.
Our best day in South Vietnam!
Viet, our guide, was an absolute star. He was informative and entertaining and made the day one to remember. The tour is excellent and the vehicle very luxurious. Our driver was very careful and negotiated the mad traffic with skill. Highly recommend this tour.
Great trip with Fa. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Interesting to see the tunnels and hear the history. The Mekong tour by boat, canoe and motorbike was also fun. Thank you
This was a very good full day tour. Pick up at 7.30 am drop back at hotel at 7 pm.
Our guide was Kevin and he was excellent. A lot of knowledge. The Limo is a luxury 9 seater mini bus. Comfortable leather seats which have a built in massage. 2 water a beerr and some fruit provided. Worth paying the extra for the comfort.
Be aware that on the boat trip down the mekong delta they give you a hat to put on. If you take it you buy it. They also expect a tip at the end of the 2 mile ride.
Lunch was very good and plentiful.
Tunnels walk is either a 20 or 60 or 100 metre walk. Once inside no turning back.
A fantastic tour mainly made great by Ben our tour guide. A great character with exceptional English. Extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. Learnt so much and had a fantastic day. Be prepared it’s a long day but we’ll worth it!
We had a great tour. It was full with 7 people. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. He guided us through the whole day with ease. There is a lot of time in the bus, but that gave everyone a chance to have a quick nap between the tunnels and the river.
A must day trip for all those who have only heard about the Vietnam War in the 60s and 70s. A reminder of how much destruction and trauma wars leave behind.
Great tour guide - Kevin.
i reserved a tour for my friends, and they told me that it was a very satisfying service and tour.
they were really happy to get to know Vietnam well.
i also was very happy that the guide was responding in real time and responded for my questions.
The van to transport us from place to place was amazing, recliner seats with massage chairs built into them. The tunnels were very good to see and we were provided great information. The visit to the Mekong delta in the afternoon was a relaxing way to end the day.
The best way to tour 2 of Vietnam's highlights in a single day. Our guide, Mr. Cung, was hysterical and very informative. The van was the best transportation I've ever had on a guided tour - extremely nice and comfortable. You learn so much about the American-Vietnam War and seeing and learning about life in the tunnels is very powerful. The lunch and snacks provided were excellent. Would highly recommend!
Our tour guide was amazing. She was knowledgeable, friendly and fun. I learnt a lot about the Vietnam war and the fallout from that war for the people of this beautiful country.
Good transport provided also and a lovely lunch. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Perfect!
Good tour to see both Chi tunnels and Mekong delta. Tour guide Mr. Phu is experienced guide, no problems with arrangement
My mom and I “struggled” over the extra $20pp for this VIP tour and in the end, I think it was a good choice. The group size maxed at 7 but there was only 5 of us that day. The van amenities were great, which included massage captain chairs and WiFi. Having a smaller group meant less waiting and our guide was great to navigate us thru the throngs of other groups at the Tunnels. The afternoon portion was also nice just being a small group as getting on/off boats was quick. Seeing the local life was nice but not exciting.
Our guide’s English was great. He was able to answer all kinds of questions and funny at the same time.
All in all, I’m glad we spent the extra $20pp.
(“Who was with me?” -my mom, but I can’t check either family boxes as I’m not a teen or young child. So I checked “friends”.)
Great tour! Long was a fabulous tour guide, sharing many interesting facts about the two places we visited. The ride was divine in the limo van, with the ability of reclining, and plenty of opportunities for having ice cold water, beer, or soda. I highly recommend this tour for a full day of fun, facts, and food!
Very comfortable transport - our guide Fa was very knowledgeable. Gave us a great history lesson in the morning.
With two locations (Cu Chi and Mekong Delta) you have lot of distance to cover and van is very comfortable to do it in a day. Cu Chi was pretty crowded but we managed to cover the place in time. Lunch option for vegetarians at Cu Chi was great. Lot of fruits to try and eat in Mekong Delta and the timings were pretty comfortable. Since lot of trips (Vans) organized by same company, Guide is your luck. Otherwise trip worth the premium.
The trip was very good. An eye opener for the kids. Our guide from VIP Tours, Mr Sang, was good and caring. The long trip on the Limo-mini van was very comfortable and worth the money spent. The only setback was that we were not picked up and dropped off at the hotel, as promised when we booked the tour.
The day was run very well with a nice lunch. The guide was very informative and made the journey a peasure.
Loved the tour. Our guide Van was very good, she kept us engaged with stories of vietnamese history and culture and made sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience and it was only made better by our host Tu. He was genuinely caring, funny and ensured we all had a fabulous day.
Excellent and informative tour. Tu was our tour guide and was awesome. He knew the history and was able to communicate effectively.
I had not much of an idea of what Cu Chi tunnels was when I signed up. First amazing thing was the VIP van. It had massage seats!!! Made my day!
I'm not much of a war fan, but Sally and her amazing stories about the tunnels really captivated me and I had a great time learning about these people and what they created to survive the war. Also, Sally made it super enjoyable with her great sense of humor.
Food was amazing!!! Seriously, super good!
Mekong was fun to see and we were lucky rain stopped when we arrived.
Had an amazing time!!
An excellent guide led tour and a very comfortable bus. A very informative day including a good history of the country.
What a great experience. Our tour guides name was Hung, she had lots of knowledge about Vietnam and the war and also used humour very well in her delivery. The day was very enjoyable and educational. The vehicle was comfortable and exactly as described and as per the photos. It was so interesting to be able to go through the tunnels and they make it easy for people of any fitness levels to choose what option is best for them. The lunch was tasty and there was lots of food. We were lucky and had a great group of people. We did not feel any pressure to tip, however, the row boat ride at the end of the tour had a small tip expected (which was totally fine). I suggest other people ask their tour guide in advance if and where tips are expected on the tour and how much is reasonable.
We got to try local honey and fruits. The tour is well constructed and the timing/ flow is great. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.
Lan (Unicorn in Vietnamese apparently) our guide was superb, very informative and funny but without being too intense. There is a fair bit of ‘van time’ being driven to each location but that was fine to have a rest in the heat. The tunnels are a ‘must’ if you are in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh as it is called now but nobody calls it that). Many thanks, unique and unforgetable 👍😊
We really love this full-day tour. It's very educational and entertaining, thanks to Vu, our amazing tour guide. She explained very well, great English, knew when to throw in some fun in between making the whole day was quite entertaining.
The tour itself is great. We intentionally chose this tour that was using Bus both ways, which was much cheaper than the Speed boat and it also gave us plenty of sightseeing opportunity along the way. Best value overall.
The limo van was very comfortable for the ride to the cu chi tunnels and mekong delta. Our guide Mr.Cung made the tour fun and interesting. He gave us many interesting facts and answered any questions we had. It was a very enjoyable day in Vietnam.
We had a family emergency come up that didn't allow us to take part in this trip but after contacting them, they rebooked us for a half day tour that same day which was so unexpected. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I would recommend them in a heart beat.
