Christianna was so friendly and informative about not only the cooking culture in Mykonos and Greece but also the general history of Mykonos. We were two couples on a cruise and this was a highlight to our trip.

While we still mostly enjoyed this experience, in all honesty, it did not meet our expectations. We were expecting a small, intimate group setting and a family-style meal. We felt there were far too many people in our group which resulted in pretty minimal hands-on opportunities as well as being split into two dinner groups in two completely separate rooms. This was really disappointing. Also, the bus transfer provided had no air conditioning and it was sweltering inside to the point where people were having to get off when picking up others just to get some air. For how high the cost of this class was we believe the value needs to be higher than what we experienced.Host cancelled reservation 2 days before because they had overbooked. This review obviously has nothing to do with the class because we were unable to do it. I tried to reschedule, but unfortunately did not hear back from host on an alternative for our family to enjoy this activity.

My daughter and I loved joining the gracious Christiana in her home to learn some traditional Greek recipes and tips for everyday in the kitchen. We enjoyed the meal we had prepared around a very large table in Christiana’s home, and shared stories, laughter and our own experiences in Greece. Christiana was happy to share about her family, life in Greece and on Mykonos, and her traditions, but was also very interested in getting to know her guests. Just a wonderful evening. My wife and I had a blast. It was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Greece. Did the evening shared class. Would recommend to everyone. Food was great, hopefully we can bring back a few tips/tricks home to replicate :)

We attended the evening cooking class in a group of 5 couples. We absolutely loved it. The owner, Teta, started by giving us a lot of information about the island of Mykonos, i.e. history, inhabitants etc. We started with a shot of raki. We then began our cooking lessons. We made stuffed tomatoes, spinach pie, risotto, tzatziki, all while drinking plenty of delicious homemade white and rose wines. We divided into groups along the way. Teta explained every step of the preparation of each dish, and conducted a competition among us for the best tzatziki and best spinach pie. We had a great group, so there were many laughs all evening (Teta has a bell she rings when everyone veers off course!). Dinner was finally ready, and we all sat down to eat. In addition to everything we cooked, Teta and her staff also made a delicious beef and orzo dish for us that would not have been possible to cook in the time allotted for the class. She also served us a traditional Greek “spoon dessert” of yogurt, honey and grapes. It was all amazingly delicious. At the end of the class, we were provided with all of the recipes, as well as a small bottle of raki and a bottle of Greek honey. If you are passionate about cooking, or even mildly interested and just like to eat, I highly recommend this class. If you are familiar with Lidia Bastianich and her Italian cooking shows in the US, Teta is definitely the Greek version of Lidia. You won’t be disappointed!
