Silvia was absolutely delightful! We saw howler monkeys right away. There is just one zip line but it is very cool going across the lagoon. Loved the lunch spot - delicious array of authentic Mexican tostados. Very cool dropping into the deep ceynote This tour is not a common one and seems to be a few distinct ones smashed together by Viator that are pretty dispersed, so you spend a good bit of time driving, which I think strained the car’s air conditioning (which Sylvia frantically tried to solve, but not her fault at all). Sylvia graciously modified the itinerary to go to a closer ceynote but not the two eyes ceynote. Viator may have offered something the tour group wasn’t prepared for. Probably best to book the separate smaller tours rather than the full day.

Such a wonderful experience, we shared the tour with another couple and made instant friends with them!! The whole group was 5 people which the whole thing private and fun (you can always ask for it to be private), the guide was very respectful and funny and the whole thing was scheduled smoothly and perfect, such a wonderful adventure, learned and lot and ate delicious. Worth every penny, definitely coming back for more.

We signed up for the Coba and Punta Laguna tour with Koox diving (they don’t only do diving tours!) and had an amazing experience with our guide, Oliver. We first did a biking tour through the Coba ruins where a local Mayan expert explained the ruins and way of the Mayan people. Super informative, fun and beautiful. After the tour, Oliver took us to get some local Mexican/Mayan lunch before heading out to the Punta Laguna reserve. We did some zip lining, snorkeled in Cenote Calaveras (got to see some human skulls and bones under water), monkey sighting in the reserve, and kayaked through the lagoon. It all was very well planned out and we got to see a little bit of everything Tulum has to offer on the other side of the beach. Highly recommend!

We went to Coba ruins and Punta Laguna nature park. IT was a wonderful, full day program starting with a tour of the Coba Ruins lead by a local guide. We had a local lunch with our Koox guide and then went to Puna Laguna. This is a preserve run by the local Mayan community. The zipline and canoeing were a lot of fun. A word or warning: The Skull Cenote is really neat but the way back up is by a very tall rope ladder. It definitely takes some fitness to get yourself out. If you're up to it, it's worth the trip!

Found Koox Diving from watching YouTube and signed up for the Coba and Punta Laguna Tour. The tour group just has me in it, not initially booked for a solo tour but ended up so and I’m glad it it. I came to Tulum on my first Solo trip and having Martina be my tour guide was amazing. She is not only friendly and welcoming but she is VERY knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and its archeological structures. Her interest is very genuine which only made the tour even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this business and if Martina is your tour guide, you will be in great hands. Thank you Martina.

My sister and I wanted an activity that would take the whole day. We wandered into Koox off the street and asked Martina about our options. She gave us really detailed information about our choices and we chose to do this adventure the following day. We paid via card (very easily and Martina waived the fee for us). She told us what they would provide (towels, water, snorkel masks) and we left. We arrived right on time for our adventure this morning. Martina greeted us in the shop and introduced us to Hannah, our guide. We left right on time and we were the only two in the tour. A cab driver had told us we had been ripped off yesterday when we explained the trip and the cost, and he was absolutely wrong. This trip was worth every penny. Hannah was knowledgeable, curious, and just the right level of friendly (the perfect balance of chatty and reserved). Our guides at the ruins and the cenote park were also fun, welcoming, and helpful. Our lunch was delicious and hearty. There were plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options at the restaurant. The experience was unforgettable and well worth it. Hannah encouraged us to overcome some fears (like swimming with fish and zip lining), and we absolutely did. She also taught us to free dive in the cenote. If I could rank this out of ten, Koox would earn a 9/10 for just missing the mark on clear information. I wish we had asked for an itinerary of the day. Martina gave us a detailed overview, but the day was so packed that it’s hard to encompass everything with a verbal explanation. For example, ziplining and repelling into the cenote were surprises. We had also been told that both breakfast and lunch would be included, which was not the case. I would absolutely recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Tulum and would even do it again if I were to visit in the future.

Great tour to the Coba Mayan ruins and Punta Laguna. Oliver was our guide for the day trip and he was terrific - informative and tended to all our needs. First stop was Coba. Learned about the Mayan culture and about the ruins. Some in our group rode bikes through the ruins while another took a bike taxi. All had fun. You can still climb to the top of the pyramid where you get a great view of the surrounding jungle. Then we went for a delicious lunch. Some of us in our group were vegetarian and appreciated the fact that there was plenty to choose from on the menu. We then went to Punta Laguna for a hike through the jungle to look at Howler monkeys and Spider monkeys. We saw both! The tour also included a short canoe ride across the laguna and a trip back over the laguna on a zip line. The final part of the tour was a swim in the cenote. Had a great day. Highly recommend the tour.

Our group of 8 did the Coba tour and it was by far the best choice for our trip. Our tour guides, Martina and Eber, were just the nicest people. They were very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We went on a bike ride through Coba, saw some monkeys, ate some amazing Mexican food, would definitely recommend cochinita pibil to anyone going on this tour, and we zipline over a lake. The cenote we went to was exhilarating and a lot of fun as well. Overall the whole experience was great and would recommend it to anyone. Koox diving for the win!!

Oliver made our trip! We went to Coba, which was super fun riding bikes around ruins and climbing on the pyramid. He is very knowledgeable too. The Canoe / zipline part was super fun and we saw wild monkeys! It is also kid-friendly if you like adventure. Not theme-park adventure but good ol' Iniana Jones type adventure (without having to worry about safety). Very safe and a unique experience. The Cenote was definitely unique repelling into a hole in the ground. Oliver was key to making this trip amazing.

The guides were so energetic and fun! Martina and Eber were so accommodating and it felt like they were just a part of the group. We went on a private Coba Ruins Tour and it was such a good deal. It included a delicious authentic Mexican meal and a trip to a monkey sanctuary where we were lucky enough to see a bunch of cute monkeys. The whole experience was my favorite day of the trip!

From start to finish this could not have been an easier and more enjoyable way to experience Coba, the Monkey Sanctuary and Cenote Las Calaveras. Our excellent guide (Martina) made sure we avoided all the crowds and by and large, had a vey intimate experience with our surroundings without lots of other people around. We even managed to have Cenote Las Calaveras all to ourselves when we went down there. I would highly recommend Koox for any experience and am considering booking another adventure before we leave next week. Gracias Martina!

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time with Koox's Mariana! We originally had booked the tour for a Saturday, but when weather looked like it might limit our activities, Koox gave us the ability to change it to Sunday with no hassle. We ended up taking them up on this, but per their advice, the weather on Saturday did end up clearing up and the weather forecast reverted back to clear and sunny. We met Mariana on the Sunday morning where we set off for the first stop - the Coba ruins. She was extremely knowledgable about the ruins, the history and the areas beyond it. Given that it was just the 2 of us on the tour with her, we got to spend more time chatting and were glad we had such a friendly and warm guide, as otherwise it would have been not so fun. We definitely made good memories that day, and Mariana went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. She took us to a local restaurant for lunch and noted that I am vegan and my boyfriend is not :) You can tell how well received Koox and Mariana are at each of the places they take you to as they have great relationships with the local owners and guides as well. She made sure we saw some monkeys at Punta Laguna and got to enjoy the cenote even in the rain! We could not recommend Koox more and look forward to booking another tour with them next time we visit Tulum. Thank you Mariana!!!!

Amazing day tour. Our guides Justine and Mariana were so nice, chill and helpful. Was a great day seeing the Coba ruins and canoeing in Punta Laguna. As well as as zip lining and waking through the jungle to see all the monkeys and swimming in cenote. We also had a delicious meal courtesy of Koox diving beside the Coba ruins. This tour was brilliant, must do!!!

this day was so cool! cant remember the last time I've had this much fun and experienced so much in one day!! if you have the chance to take this tour with Max, do it!! for us, it felt like we were visiting an old friend who was showing us around her home town! Her positive energy and insider information took the tour from great to invaluable!! in one tour we explored the Coba ruins, climbed the Nohoch Mul pyramid (137 feet!!!), ate at the coolest taco joint EVER, experienced a traditional Mayan blessing ceremony, saw monkeys in Punta Laguna, hiked through the jungle, canoed the lagoon, zip lined (with a stick for a brake!! :) and swam in a sacred Cenote. i am so grateful to Max that i experienced this day in my life, it made me feel pretty alive!!
