We signed up for the Coba and Punta Laguna tour with Koox diving (they don’t only do diving tours!) and had an amazing experience with our guide, Oliver. We first did a biking tour through the Coba ruins where a local Mayan expert explained the ruins and way of the Mayan people. Super informative, fun and beautiful. After the tour, Oliver took us to get some local Mexican/Mayan lunch before heading out to the Punta Laguna reserve. We did some zip lining, snorkeled in Cenote Calaveras (got to see some human skulls and bones under water), monkey sighting in the reserve, and kayaked through the lagoon. It all was very well planned out and we got to see a little bit of everything Tulum has to offer on the other side of the beach. Highly recommend!Ever went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience . Highly recommend the exotic day tour, would recommend this to all my family and friends

Amazing day tour. Our guides Justine and Mariana were so nice, chill and helpful. Was a great day seeing the Coba ruins and canoeing in Punta Laguna. As well as as zip lining and waking through the jungle to see all the monkeys and swimming in cenote. We also had a delicious meal courtesy of Koox diving beside the Coba ruins. We went to Coba ruins and Punta Laguna nature park. IT was a wonderful, full day program starting with a tour of the Coba Ruins lead by a local guide. We had a local lunch with our Koox guide and then went to Puna Laguna. This is a preserve run by the local Mayan community. The zipline and canoeing were a lot of fun. A word or warning: The Skull Cenote is really neat but the way back up is by a very tall rope ladder. It definitely takes some fitness to get yourself out. If you're up to it, it's worth the trip!Found Koox Diving from watching YouTube and signed up for the Coba and Punta Laguna Tour. Found Koox Diving from watching YouTube and signed up for the Coba and Punta Laguna Tour. The tour group just has me in it, not initially booked for a solo tour but ended up so and I’m glad it it. I came to Tulum on my first Solo trip and having Martina be my tour guide was amazing. She is not only friendly and welcoming but she is VERY knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and its archeological structures. Her interest is very genuine which only made the tour even more enjoyable. Definitely recommend this business and if Martina is your tour guide, you will be in great hands. My sister and I wanted an activity that would take the whole day. We wandered into Koox off the street and asked Martina about our options. She gave us really detailed information about our choices and we chose to do this adventure the following day. We paid via card (very easily and Martina waived the fee for us). She told us what they would provide (towels, water, snorkel masks) and we left. We arrived right on time for our adventure this morning. Martina greeted us in the shop and introduced us to Hannah, our guide. We left right on time and we were the only two in the tour. A cab driver had told us we had been ripped off yesterday when we explained the trip and the cost, and he was absolutely wrong. This trip was worth every penny. Hannah was knowledgeable, curious, and just the right level of friendly (the perfect balance of chatty and reserved). Our guides at the ruins and the cenote park were also fun, welcoming, and helpful. Our lunch was delicious and hearty. There were plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options at the restaurant. The experience was unforgettable and well worth it. Hannah encouraged us to overcome some fears (like swimming with fish and zip lining), and we absolutely did. She also taught us to free dive in the cenote. If I could rank this out of ten, Koox would earn a 9/10 for just missing the mark on clear information. I wish we had asked for an itinerary of the day. Martina gave us a detailed overview, but the day was so packed that it’s hard to encompass everything with a verbal explanation. For example, ziplining and repelling into the cenote were surprises. We had also been told that both breakfast and lunch would be included, which was not the case. I would absolutely recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Tulum and would even do it again if I were to visit in the future.
