City Tour and Tequila Tasting Puerto Vallarta
Overview
We begin this tour with a walk through the city, then we will visit the boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta where the guide will explain the history of each monument where we will stop, he will also explain the history of the Port and the boardwalk itself where we can appreciate the emblematic horse of sea. After the boardwalk, we will go to the downtown cathedral. After this stop, we will continue the road to the viewpoint of the Arcos de Mismaloya, where we will be appreciating them briefly to continue with the road to Rancho Verano. In the end, we go to the restaurant where we can enjoy the dish that we ordered previously and after eating and at the table, we return to our destination.

As with previous reviews, we were delivered to various, PARTICULAR shops where I'm sure they receive a commission for whatever we buy. Waste of our time. The tequila tasting was the highlight of the trip, the man who managed it was friendly, fun and very knowledgeable. We bought several bottles of different flavors from them because it was so good! Yes, it felt forced to eat at the restaurant next to tequila farm. Prices were outrageous and not very good. The tour guide, Emmanuel was knowledgeable but not a kind person. We participated in this tour in October, 2019 (before the virus). We bought this excursion package aboard our Princess cruise through the Mexican Riviera. We hopped on a large air-conditioned bus that took us to the Boardwalk. We all got to take pictures, but everything was very rushed. We were able to get off the bus at the Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe Church, which is SO beautiful, but our tour guide got upset because some of us were taking too long in the church. We weren't there for 10 minutes, and were rushed out. I think the driver must be friends at the silver jewelry shop, as we stopped there for about an HOUR. We were given a small amount of punch (I think it had alcohol in it). I would have loved to have spent more time walking around or visiting other stores. The tequila factory was interesting, but it is far away from everything, and we felt forced to purchase food at the outdoor restaurant that was attached to the same property. It took forever to get our food, and when we got ours they messed up the order so they had to remake it. We got our food just as our bus was leaving, so had to eat it on the bus. All in all, we will never do this excursion again, and I think people need to know that they'll be spending so much time at one silver shop and at the tequila factory/restaurant.Mae3377

This tour isn't worth any money. Guide took us to the boardwalk, speaking Spanish and English but spoke so fast that we couldn't understand. Didn't give us anytime to take pictures. But once we got to jewellery store had lots to time there to get us to buy. Then off to tequila distillery which I'm not sure if real then forced to buy lunch since we are there for over an hour.
