What to expect
You will be supplied with bike locks and helmets for the security of you and the bike. On top of that you will get a city map of Porto especially designed for travelers using bikes. They show the whole Douro River banks and beaches and also highlight all the cycle paths in the city. If you are new to city biking, you don't have to worry because you can ride only mostly in parks and cycle paths.
Please note: the city bikes require a minimal hight of 1.50m. Children receive bikes adapted to their size.

- When booking with children, keep in mind we have some children bicycles, but availability depends on age of child.

We rented two bikes for one day. The owner (lady) was very communicative and supportive. She gave us a map. She marked out the best cycling path and names of the best restaurants in the map. Bicykles were in the perfect condition. We enjoyed a perfect day.

The trip itself to Matosinhos was very nice, weather helped and the staff at Biclas&Triclas was superhelpful. From the booking process to the bikes themselves, to the indications for itineries, their staff went beyond their work to help us in anything we needed. Thank you so much for the experience!We rented an electric bike to ride the camino from Porto to Santiago. Jose, Sara and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect for us. The bike was very clean and well maintained. Their communication was excellent. I highly recommend them!

We took two bikes at Biclas & Triclas for 1 day for 10 euro each. Bikes were very good and comfortable. The owners are sweet and helpful, more of that - they gave us a map with a detailed explanation of best routes for cycling to enjoy the city and the nature and also the places to taste fresh fish at the beach side. The route was most of the time isolated from cars and even during the week the roads were quite calm from cars. It was a great and fun experience !
