The main objective is Chimborazo hike, but on the way there were many sights to see. For example active volcano Tungurauha, peculiar stratum, and cute wild pequena in the mountainous area. The main objective is Chimborazo hike, but on the way there were many sights to see. For example active volcano Tungurauha, peculiar stratum, and cute wild pequena in the mountainous area. The guide Albert was giving us explanations timely, and so kind and patient that he waits us for our taking a lot of photos. The main track to lake Condor took 1h+ walk to 5100m. Thanks to the guide who gave us appropriate advise and kept a good pace, we managed to get there without any problems, even one of our friends are complete novice in climbing. Very good and responsible company. I traveled with my family and we went to several places in Ecuador from Baños. We loved the mountain tours (chimborazo, quilotoa and cotopaxi) and it was also exciting to do canyoning, rafting and jungle! I highly recommend.

The guide is very professional, the trip was very interesting. Chimborazo is an beautiful place. We went to a height 5100 m, the way down by bike was adventurous. I can highly recomend this trip

This is right up there with one of the best things I've done in Ecuador. It's a double win , you get to explore the mountain/volcano as the knowledgeable guides explain the history, on the drive and of the mountain and volcanos around. The guides we're super friendly and entertained us immensely!...
This is right up there with one of the best things I've done in Ecuador. It's a double win , you get to explore the mountain/volcano as the knowledgeable guides explain the history, on the drive and of the mountain and volcanos around. The guides we're super friendly and entertained us immensely!! Walking up to the small lake there was time to have lay down and just take it all in the view from 5200meters is unreal. Then make our down and take off!! As fast or as slow as you like ripping skids or simply braking the bikes we're great a bit of off-road and slow right down for an up close encounter with the alpacas. The guides we're so much fun on the ride they let you go for it if you want or go slow and if you want to keep going then that's fine too I think I rode about 30kms it's down hill so it's great😁. They take you to lunch in the nearby town to try the local cuisine real local and there a famous drink all included a local famous guy carries ice from the mountain fresh for a juice of your choice, I didn't believe it at first but they were almost offended with my disbelief and proved it true. Highly recommend and these guys prices very reasonable for what you do and the service you get. Must do!!salinasdeguaranda

Baños is a place of reference for tourism in Ecuador, then it needs a separate chapter. Then you spend 2 hours to go from Baños to Riobamba, in Riobamba you can make a city tour for 3 hours. But the main attraction is Chimborazo trip, you spend 1 hour to get Chimborazo National Reserve, in the entrance you should register your dates in Ministry of the Environment's office, in 35 minutes you can get first refuge (Hermanos Carrel), then you can take a Coca Tea in little bar and continue by walking to second Refuge (Whimper), this requires a good physical state, but the reward is wonderful. I recommend arrive to Chimborazo reserve at 09:00 at least.
