I booked a trip and had a confirmation number of yet booking. For some reason something got screwed up by Viator. We were supposed to be picked up one day at a certain time and they never showed up. I called to complain they canceled it and rebook me for another day which caused conflict. The excursion travel was terrible! We were jammed into a small van, instead of a tour bus as promised for a 12 hour day. This excursion affiliate “Cancun Tours” who we had our excursion has the lowest ratings. I will never book with this company ever againChichen itza is a long day, but it is worth it, guide Jessica is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. Chichen itza is a long day, but it is worth it, guide Jessica is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. A small snack was provided before, and cold drinks at the site. The guided tour was very informative and enough time to explore the site after before heading off for lunch. At the van in the parking lot cold hand towels are given out and more cold drinks including beers. Lunch was delicious lime chicken soup followed by fall off the bone chicken, rice and beans.I took a tour from Cancun to C. Itza. It was about $125 dollars and worth it. Nice bus, great tour guides. Included visit to cenote and lunch and stop in Vallododid. Check your em and messages for updates on your tour. Mine changed the time and meeting location

Very disappointing service. We booked our deluxe tour at 6pm for the following morning & received a confirmation email immediately (along with a receipt from PayPal). The next morning we waited over 2 hours in our resort lobby & no one came. We called, the resort called, I emailed, I whatsapped & nothing. It was only by chatting with Laura through the chat option on the website that I was informed the tour wasn’t confirmed (even though the email suggested otherwise) & that all tours need 48 hours’ notice & that they would collect us the following day. We weren’t available the following day so had to take the tour the day after which was extremely lucky we are still on holiday. For some reason, the bus wouldn’t collect us in the lobby of the hotel & we were asked to wait on the road. The tour was good overall but too long, it took us almost 2 hours to collect everyone before leaving Playa Del Carmen for Chichen Itza. In total, the tour was from 7am to 9pm. Not recommended
