Took the tour on the 22nd of April, 2024. A great experience. Have taken different Chicago architectural over the years, this was a bit different focusing on the interior of the buildings, while still getting useful and interesting information about the exteriors. Hillary, the guide that day, made the tour that much better with her knowledge and enthusiasm.

Our guide, Adam, was fantastic. He shared the history and interesting side stories about the buildings we visited. And kept the tour at a good pace - never slow, never too fast. There was even a lot of time for questions. I highly recommend the tour. FIVE stars!

I love how Hillary led us into each space, allowed us to explore a bit and then gather us up to communicate some history and context for the building we were looking at. The tour was not only interesting but educational and inspiring.

She told us about the different architectural styles and the history of the buildings. We had a good group size of 12 which made it easy to circle around and hear our guide.

Hillary was fantastic, super knowledgeable and very personable. The tour was visually stunning and this Chicagoan learned a lot and saw some really spectacular interiors that you normally would just walk by when downtown. I loved it!

We took the walking architectural tour and were lucky enough to have the owner as our guide. Her passion and knowledge of the area added another level to our experience. I had taken another similar tour in the past and enjoyed this one much more. I would highly recommend it.

The Dazzling Interiors of the Loop tour highlights truly spectacular interior spaces that are often overlooked or taken for granted, and all are within easy walking distance of each other. She has notebooks of historic reference photos that help her visitors make sense of what they’re seeing, and her conversational skills elicit interesting questions and help build an instantaneous bond within the tour group. It’s noteworthy that she has such a great rapport with the security staff in all the spots we visited, and that a number of passersby couldn’t resist eavesdropping on the tour.

Adam was a great tour guide. He really brought to life the stories and details of what we were seeing. I could have listened all day! He was very knowledgeable and attentive. My teenager was also ‘wowed’ and that’s hard to do. Go take the tour with Adam!

Guide was prompt, kind, and knowledgeable. Group of 20 was too big, which caused small problems throughout the tour. We were too big for everyone to hear well. Just entering and exiting buildings took extra time. And, even our street crossings resulted in a couple of delays, when the group stretched apart, and everyone didn't make the lights. With a slightly smaller group, we could have seen more, and waited less. Fix that, and it's a 5-star tour for sure.

Difficult to pack in so much information about architectural styles and periods without losing your audience, but Kaylee did an excellent job of engaging with our group. The two hours went by very quickly. It adds so much to your visit to get to see the interiors of the buildings, and the ones chosen for the tour showcase different architectural trends beautifully.
