What to expect
This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara, 103 Phra Pok Klao Road Phra Singh, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, this temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one time, Wat Chedi Luang housed the revered Emerlad Buddha image now enshrined in Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew. One of Wat Chedi Luang’s most striking architectural features is a magnificent Naga staircase adorns the chapel’s front.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Doi Suthep 50200 Thailand
Wat Doi Suthep It is a tremendous temple complex with a visual delight every time you turn your head. It is popular with the tour buses, but wait for the tour to move on and enjoy. Give yourself plenty of time and you will not be disappointed.
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Wat Pha Lat, Ban Huai Pha Lat 101, Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Wat Pha Lat This temple is the ancient precursor (lower on the mountain) than Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. While a little less grand than it's younger sibling, it is steep with history, reverence, and peace. Boasting beautiful views of the city of Chang Mai, it is built on a stream with a seried of waterfalls. A terrific place for meditation or simple reflection. Go!!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Tha Phae Gate, Moon Muang Rd., Chiang Mai 50200 Thailand
Tha Phae Gate Romantic, Beautiful, Enchanting - these are the three words that I could sum up experiencing one of Chiang Mai's historic gates - The Tha Phae gate. When the city was founded by King Mangrai in 1296 these gates together with other gates (Chang Puak, Chiang Mai, Pratu Soan Dok) protect the old city. Tha Phae gate lies on the east of the city and made of Red bricks stone
Conclude your half-day tour with the return to your Chiang Mai hotel.
Duration: 30 minutes

Amazing morning to see such beauty Temple grounds. Guide and driver in beautiful Van. Wat Palad Temple is one of the beautiful hidden gems I’ve witnessed in my 8 years of travel to Thailand. The massive Temple in town, over 800 hundred years old. At a time when Chiang Mai was not even part of Thailand. A great history lesson for the beginning of Thailand. I highly recommend this Tour.We visited three main temple. Wat Chedi Luang was the first one. Lots to see here, but I especially liked the ruined (by earthquake) pagoda and the paintings inside the Inthakhin Pillar (sadly women not allowed in). Then onto Wat Phra Sing. Amazing gold pagodas. Final destination is What Suan Dok. What's great here is all the white mausoleums for member of the former Kingdom of Chiang Mai. Still today family members have their ashes placed here. May was an excellent guide, easy to understand. She told us of some much more to see, but we didn't have time. I guess we'll just have to come back!Great tour and quick way to see some of the city’s significant temples. Our guide (Songsuk) provides a greet tour with history and detail for our education.

The Wat was a very special place with such beautiful art, sculpture and carvings. The opulence was everywhere with pure gold and jade all around.
