Champagne half-day tour
Overview
The vineyards are planted on the hillside of the mountain of Reims.
At each stop, I will give you informations through funny stories and explain you why the place is unique but the Champagne too : the grappe varieties, the plants growing, the harvest and the most important the tasting !
My friend winemaker will welcome us at his place and we will visit his family exploitation. He will explain you his daily work and show you the different steps of production of champagne : from the press to the cellar going through the tanks room where the juices are stock waiting for the bottleling.
We will save a lot of time for the tasting which is the most important.
I also orgonise more complete tours in an all day with lunch and visits.

Traveling with my 85 years young mother and a family friend, this was our first formal tour in this French vacation. And the last international adventure for my mom. Expectations were high and I felt the pressure as social coordinator. Stephane fully exceeded our dreams for a delightful and educational event. He deftly communicated everything in English and in French, shared history, local facts, terroir, politics, . . .and plenty of champagne. To top it off, he recommended an amazing restaurant for dinner where we may have enjoyed the finest meals of our lives. I kid you not.
