After reading mixed reviews I was worried this would be a bad experience. It wasn’t. It was amazing. The bus ride was comfortable and along the way Niels told us interesting facts about Geneva and Chamonix. Once we arrived we were given clear instructions and were taken care of and knew where to go all day. We did all the extras and I’m so glad we did. Such an unforgettable day!

Both organisation and guide were amaizing, especially considering the pandemic. I wanted more time in Montenvert than Mont Blanc, and I was able to arrange it by my own schedule.

Excellent scenery, well worth a visit. However, we found the tour poorly planned and organised; upon getting to the top of Mont Blanc, it was recommended that we do the glass box (main attraction), yet the guide gave us a meeting time that was less than the advertised queue time of this attraction. Feeling this was an important part of the trip, we did it anyway and the tour guide left without us. We followed the itinerary on the leaflet we had been given and waited at the next spot at the correct time, but the guide didn’t show. We didn’t see him again until the end of the day. He was running late and caused us to miss the first return bus.

The customer service was excellent our driver Tom is the best. He made sure we were well catered for? Also when we feel stranded on don't blanc due to cable times, the company rang to check on us and to make sure we are not left behind! We would recommend Swiss Tours they are the best 😁

The trip was organized, yet the lunch was awful, noting that I paid around 60 usd for the lunch, which is quite expensive for what i got. The cold dish was 2 mushrooms, half a boiled egg, with some cabbage on the side with no taste. The service was very slow, despite there were only 4 tables in the whole restaurant. After waiting for almost an hour for the hot dish, here comes the chicken that has no taste in creamy sauce and french fries that was almost black as it was fried in same oil maybe for 3 years in a row. What shall i say about the dessert that was almost a piece of bread covered with strawberry jam and has no taste at all. I honestly felt that it is sort of robbery and would not recommend it or do it again. Ill post this on social media.

This experience was so wonderful.
The tour guide was incredibly thorough and funny. He really made the tour. I met very nice people on this tour. You have more than enough time to see everything for the full day tour with lunch.

The trip was good but it’s just a few tips, organisation and tickets to the attractions.

Neil who was our guide was good but didn’t explain enough about Geneva city, Charmonix and Switzerland.

It was still a good trip. Just wanted to make sure people know what they’re booking.

An absolutely great day. The trip up the mountain on the cable car was a highlight. We had a blue sky day so the views were the best. The trip on the train was just as good with fantastic views. The town is a beautiful place to wander around with lots of shops to explore and cafes to enjoy

Highly recommend this tour as there was a lot of freedom and seemed more about what I wanted rather than just sitting through a tour. As expected from other reviews, I got Neil as a tour guide who is a bit quirky. Kept talking about global warming nonsense, but other than that was great. There was a lot of freedom once we got into Chamonix and was just given a time to meet back up which I loved. I highly recommend this and you should do it!

For our first trip to Geneva we wanted to see Chamonix, Montenvers with a tour rather than plan the logistics ourselves. Despite a light rain, the Tour was excellent, the views were amazing and our guide Neil was very entertaining with lots of insight into what to do in Geneva after the tour ended.

If the weather is good, and the Mer de Glace glacier is open to visit, Montenvers is a must. The Aiguille de Midi (summit of Chamonix) is an incredible experience regardless of the weather.

The mountain and the town were absolutely worth visiting, but not with Neil, the so-csalled guide. He was nowhere to be seen at the venues. On the bus he regaled us with his uninformed opinions on everything from global warming to women's interests to the price of chocolate. He was surely and refused to answer questions about the tour. I suggest that if you are considering taking this tour, make sure he's not involved before boking.

This trip was excellent. The cable car, the train to the ice cave and the village of Chamonix was well worth the drive from Geneva. The weather was perfect and we saw amazing views from the top of Mont Blanc.

My wife and I did this tour on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019. Bus was on time and comfortable, bus driver was nice and safe driver. Tour guide Neil was nice and informative, gave us all the information we needed to have a good time, including the options for side trips. Weather was great, Chamonix is a quaint little Alpine village, but great fun to visit. Only thing we did not like was being crowded into the first cable car that takes you half way up the mountain, but there is noting the tour guides could do about it. It was well worth it for the view of the French Alps, above the clouds! Another happy and successful tour from Viator.com! Dr. David A. Williams, Phoenix, Arizona

The place and experience was awesome but the tour guide Caroline was unhelpful for the most part. She handed us information and leaflets with maps and timings but made little effort to ensure people in the group got to things easily or went around the town with no hassel

This activity can not be put into words to express the beauty of the mountains covered in ice. The Chamonix glass box is an activity that will provide memories for a lifetime. Such a pleasant experience for pictures to be taken. The only negative was that our tour guide "Maria" was not very clear at all about the pick up point and as a result many people arrived over 30 minutes late to the departure point which was irritating having to wait for others in order to leave.

The tour arrangements and tour guide, Neil, helped make this trip from Geneva to Chamonix and Mont Blanc one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Thank you so much! My daughter and I had a fantastic time in Chamonix; we had a smooth bus ride to the French Alps with detailed instructions about what to expect and how to organize our time there. Neil was able to squeeze in a side trip to a lovely church just outside Chamonix where we stopped to take some of our best photos of the vacation. Taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car to view the Alps and Mont Blanc was easier with the tour package. The views were breathtaking - DO NOT MISS THIS! Admittedly, we had the most gorgeous day with clear blue skies and no wind. I will never forget that part of the trip. We spent too much time with a great lunch at the restaurant across from the le petit train stop. Then we took the train to the Mer de Glace, a cable car down to the ice cave but not before walking 500 steps down to it. It was well worth it! We did miss the bus because we tried to fit everything in but Neil had given us good directions about what to do if we did. We spent an extra hour walking through Chamonix and discovering quaint little stores to make our way to the central bus station for 6.15pm. A second bus arrived and we were able to get on it (Neil had warned us that seats were not guaranteed on this bus) and get back to Geneva for dinner. One word of caution though: keep hold of a paper copy of your tour ticket so you can get on the 2nd bus if you inadvertently miss the first.

Unfortunately we didn't get to ride the train to the glacier. The train was not running because of a derailment earlier in the week. Tour guide Niel was very knowledgeable and friendly
