George was an excellent tour guide and a teacher!! He always found time to answer every question and always had the tourist best interest in mind ! Fred and Marge.
Meeting instructions were excellent. Dani was excellent guide. Lots of interesting things learned on this walking tour. Recommend. Dick c
Less than average compared to the other excursions we took in Spain. Only the two Roman ruins were worth seeing. Tour guideAlisa was better than the average guide and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
Excellent tour! We would not have known so much was in the city had we not done this with our guide, Jorge. He was fabulous and gave us great advice and where to go and what to see after we finished.
The guide alisa. Was the excellent. Only 9 people. Lovely
We really enjoyed this tour and especially Alisa! Just walked off the ship and met her at the end of the pier, just a short walk. Not a stressful walking tour at all... Alisa was so informative and just a delight to listen to! So much history here that one can learn, be amazed and enjoy. Would certainly recommend this tour to anyone.
Excellent tour guide with a wealth of local and historical knowledge. Small group of nine made it easy for tour guide to interact with all participants. Amount of walking was significant with many stairs so age and physical limitations could make this tour difficult for some. First three hours of tour were the best with the last half hour being the weakest part of the program. Three hours might better fit the content and the physical demands of the walking tour.
Not a lot in Cartegena but this tour was informative and interesting for the price. Couldn't beat the price.
Alisa, our tour guide, did an excellent job!! She explained the history in a way that was easy to understand. We came away from the tour with an appreciation of Cartagena's part tin the history of Spain.
Excellent Tour Guide - As good as you would hope for. Unfortunately, I feel that Cartegena is an area rich with history but with very little conservation of the rich history. So much of the stories are very interesting but the remains/relics leave much to be desired compared with other areas in the region. However highly recommend the tour operator - Very knowledgeable and very organized and certainly make the most of what is available.
Alicia was very informative and took her time to explain all about the various stops on the walking tour. She even offered to let anyone use her suncream - must have felt sorry for me when she saw my pasty skin.
This was an awesome tour. Since it was hot outside, our guide Jorgi brought us water. We saw so much of Cartagena during this three 3 hour walking tour that wouldn't have been possible on our own. In addition, the history of this beautiful town was brought to life by our guide as his passion for his city exuberated through his commentary. I would highly recommend this tour and if I am back in Cartagena, will definitely seek out Jorgi for another tour.
George was our guide and he was wonderful!!! We walked for almost 2 hours, but the time went so fast that it seemed like 20 minutes! He covered the history of Cartegena among other facts. We saw so many interesting sites and places. I would highly recommend this tour. It was fun and informative. What a great way to spend part of a day!!!
We 'HIGHLY recommend this tour!! Ana was very knowledgable and personable, she really brought the history of Cartagena alive.
The group was pretty big so she split the group up between herself and her brother, so both groups would be small, making it easier
to talk to everybody.. We heard from people from the group that went with her brother that he was very good and knew the history well.
THE BEST WALKING TOUR OF CARTAGENA
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about the history of Cartagena.
There was a lot of history and detail. It was a good way to learn about the city
The sights were wonderful! The guide Danny was fantastic! Lots of history info. Nice walk. Easy to find the meeting spot, right off the cruise ship. One of our favorite days spent on the cruise!
Ula's (our guide) love for the city was contagious! Her knowledge of Cartagena (past and present) was excellent. She painted a picture as we walked thru the ruins and the town. She provided more than just dry facts, she told a story. It was a great tour and we highly recommend it!
My husband and I arrived on a cruise ship. It was easy to find our guide at the end of the dock. There were only 6 in our group, making it a personal experience. Our guide spoke excellent English, knew his history, and got us around the city efficiently. He recommended what to do with our remaining time and gave us directions back to our ship. This small group is much better than the crowded groups where it's hard to hear your guide and ask questions. This is an excellent option for those hesitant to book a tour that isn't offered directly by the cruiseline, since the port is very easy to reach from all areas of Cartagena and you won't risk missing the on-board time.
Our guide was knowledgeable friendly and very welcoming. I would certainly recommend this walking tour!
We had Anna as a guide. Very interesting tour.
Out tour guide, Ana, was simply outstanding. She was so knowledgeable, interesting and spoke perfect English. This small group tour was by far the best tour we took while in Spain.
Sergio, our guide, lived here and made everything so interesting. He also is a geologist so we also had the opportunity to learn not only about the ruins, but also the different materials used in homes and structures. Sergio was fun, passionate about this City and so knowledgeable. This was one of the best tours!
The Guide who took us around was very good and we had a very good walking experience. Tony and Ivete Pinto
