Wonderful tour, well planned and run by our guide Tonino. We were a large group but he kept us organised. The trip to Anacapri and the optional ride up the Chair lift was incredible - definitely recommend it. it is the best 11 euros you will spend! It can get a bit scary and the ride up is a bit steep but those were the very best views we got at the end. At the top, there is a little stop to even grab a drink at a cafe and click all the pictures you will definitely want to click. The only downside was that I thought we got very little free time in Capri to explore. A lot of time was given to the optional lunch at the restaurant in Anacapri, which I felt could have been avoided and we could have had time to eat on our own in Capri. I and my daughter did not take the lunch option as I am skeptical of such mass offerings and it appeared the lunch was pretty ordinary anyway. All in all a good option to get many things ticked off the tourist list and we then used up our free day to go back to Capri on the ferry, as it's an incredible place - I loved it.

Did this trip yesterday and enjoyed every minute our guide Lia was born in Sorrento and she was incredible from the moment she met us of at coach at the port.You can just do this solo without booking an organised trip but I wouldn’t recommend it there are long queues at the ferry ticket office and for boat trips around the coast and Capri is very busy but Lia had our tickets ready for us she took us to the best places organised a boat trip around the coast on a private chartered boat and transported us to AnaCapri and back by shuttle bus Anacapri was busy but not as busy as Capri and Lia new of a restaurant for lunch that wasn’t expensive as it is really pricey in both Towns we had spare time and we chose to go on the cable cars which should be one of the wonders of the world the views are just breathtaking there was a little walking involved in this trip and the temperatures here are still in the high 20s so some older members of our party struggled it is a long day we were collected from our hotel at 8.30am and didn’t arrive back until 7pm this is worth bearing in mind.I did not think this attraction was going to be this great, due to all bad the reviews I've read before booking it. I did not think this attraction was going to be this great, due to all bad the reviews I've read before booking it. However, it turned out to be GREAT. I was able to go to each of the places I wanted to go (Monte Solaro, Piazza Umberto I, Villa San Michele, and Blue Grotto) and get back on time for lunch. My tour guide Suzie was excellent. She helped to get to all these places. She provided me with a meeting point and time, so I was able to get back with the rest of the group. At the end of the day, she gave me the ticket to the ferry because I was not leaving with the group and explained to me how to get to where I wanted to go. Thank you Suzie! :-)this trip was amazing!!! PEPE made the whole experience out of this world, ask for him next time you go :)

The boat trip around the isalnd is not mentioned in the description and is an optional extra that is offered on the day weather permitting. It was actually the highlight of the trip. Going around the island with a commentary about the various intersting points with plenty of photo opportunies is a must. We then went to Annacapri where our guide Desiree (aka Maria) who we had also had as a guide to Pompeii and Herculaneum took us to a restaurant where we were able to have a very resonably priced lunch (main,dessert and drink for 15 euros). Due to my husbands fear of heighs we did not do the cable car from Annacapri but Desiree arranged to take those of us not doing it on a little guided walk around showing us where we could see similar views. We then went to Capri town for a walk round then had free time until our return to Sorrento.
