Overall experience was excellent. Loved the location. The amount of time spent was a little short, but that was because of the ships time line.
Could use more time in Monte Carlo. We had a good tour guide and a safe driver. we had 8 people in the van and it seemed a bit crowded. Could do without perfume factory tour. I felt that it was a big sales pitch.
We had booked a small group (8) tour for Cannes and Monaco. Our tour guide was Thim, who was originally from Vietnam. Although he was not originally from the area, he was a wealth of knowledge about the country and traditions. We had an absolutely great time! He took us to Eze, Monte Carlo, Monaco, Cannes and Nice. More than we had expected or paid for. He was a great tour guide, very witty, very personable, and kept us entertained throughout the tour.
Great tour. Enjoyed the whole tour with a very good guide. Each area was facinating and was glad to have done.
Excelent. The driver was very polite. Explained everytinhg to us. Its a tour of 5 hours. We liked of the tour
First, our guide Peggy was excellent. She was funny, friendly and well informed.
The perfume store was awesome, wife spend way too much. Lol
Monaco was beautiful. Wish we had time for a full day tour
We had a fabulous guide that was so informative and took us many places in Monaco and Cannes.
He picked us up from the cruise ship and had a beautiful A/C van. We would recommend this excursion for anyone visiting this area. Faith and Rick
Jenna was an amazing tour guide! She was very informative and made learning about Cannes, Eze and Monaco fun! The six of us all had a fantastic day wirh her! Would highly recommend her !
Our tour guide was excellent and worked very hard for us to see a lot of beautiful and historic sites in one day! The perfume factory was interesting but I think we could have skipped that. It was a fantastic day!
The small group excursion was an excellent way to see Cannes, Monaco, Monte Carlo and Eze. Our guide/driver, Thin with Liven Up, was very knowledgeable about the areas and very entertaining. I would certainly recommend this excursion for anyone looking for a personalized and relaxed visit to Cannes area.
The excursion and experience was as agreed per the details of the excursion. The guide was excellent in showing the best spots for the tour and adhered to the need of a large group with different age groups.
Excellent one day trip to Monaco. Our driver, Ben was prompt and we were able to see all as promised. The time spent in Eze was incredible! This small village is beautiful. I wish we could have stayed longer. Monaco is also nice. As promised, we were returned to the port to board our cruise in ample time. Wonderful day and is worth doing.
Very good experience. Drivers arrived on time and were holding a sign with the name of the Lead passenger. They were very courteous and knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend them again. The only disappointment in the trip is that the church in Monaco was closed and we could not visit inside. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.
We spent a nice five hours trip with Audrey, our lovely knowledgeable and friendly guide. Audrey is also a very good driver, which is not trivial on the winding roads of the Riviera. If you only have a few hours in the area, this is a way to enjoy them.
Thanks to Venish our guide .
He was at the port when we arrived so very professional we could not have asked for s better one ! He took us from Cannes in a very comfortable cooled car .
was showing us all nice places , he knows everything about the area ,he was telling us interesting stories about events and places while driving , stopping us where we could take the best photos and also have time to shop for souvenirs or look around . We passed through Cannes,Nice,Eze village , perfume factory where we had a special private tour and finally Monaco and Monti Carlo . He made sure that we get back to our ship on time .
to mention but few . Simply he made it the best experience ever . Thank you Venish you have made our tour the highlight of our cruise .
While my husband was in meetings, I decided to take this 5-hour tour by myself. I assumed I would be in a group of 7-8 with maybe some old couples. To my surprise, there was just one other traveler who was also touring on her own. We happened to be both from a California and she was a great travel buddy! Our guide Jenna was simply amazing!! She was friendly, fun, informative, intelligent, and it was obvious that she loves what she does!! Drive to Eze was about an hour, but with a Jenna giving us trivia questions about France and Monaco, time passed fast. The perfume factory tour wasn’t exactly what I imagined... the tour guide for Frogonard was a little weird and was a little rude when I didn’t buy anything at the end. Eze village was amazing and so was Monaco and Monte Carlo. We got to see the changing of the guards at the Prince’s Palace, which was pretty dramatic. The cathedral where Grace kelly got married and laid to rest was beautiful. Warning: if you want to go inside, your shoulders and legs must be covered or they won’t let you in. As mentioned earlier, this was a perfect tour if you want to spend 1/2 a day exploring and take pictures. The air conditioned van was very comfy too. If I come back to Nice or Cannes, I will definitely do this tour again and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the French Riviera!!
the best the Monaco tour with a sto at the speed way was excellent. The work to the top of the mountain with the shops and the church gave a fantastic view of the region.
Because our cruise ship was tendered and had some issues getting the tenders started on time we ended up starting the entire tour about 30-45 minutes late which caused us to have to rush the tour a bit to ensure we were back to the ship in time. Regardless, the visits to Eze and Monaco were both amazing! The history and quaintness of Eze was something we had never seen before and the F1 track being set up in Monaco made that visit very memorable. Thanks to Xavier for a great tour!
We were on a cruise and tendered in Cannes, France. The cruise wasn't offering day trips to Monaco because of the Grand Prix and traffic. I booked this tour and we had a blast! Our guide was Marie Anne and she was fantastic. We want to go to as many countries as possible and it's an easy drive from Cannes to Monaco. Monaco itself is an absolute picture post card and Marie Anne made the tour even more fabulous!
We enjoyed our half day Viator tour to Eze and Monaco with our driver Susan was outstanding. She gave us a very good tour in her 8 passenger minivan. The price for the tour was a lot less than our cruise ship the Ncl Epic offered.
Terry was our tour guide and he was terrific! He explained all the sites and encouraged us to ask him questions along the way. We enjoyed the perfume tour in Eze, the historic village on the hillside, and various places in Monte Carlo including the Changing of the Guard, the cathedral where Princess Grace and Prince Rainier’s final resting places are located as well as the Monte Carlo Casino. Terry is upbeat, friendly and knowledgeable. You’ll enjoy his tour! Five *****!
Our tour guide Jenna was amazing. She took us to all the areas and they had wifi in the tour as well. She was kind and answered all the questions. She knew her stuff. I would highly recommend this trip, with skip the lines and small group. You can't go wrong.
I can't say enough good things about this shore excursion. We tendered into Cannes from the NCL Epic and was greeted by Fred from LIvenUp, our driver/guide for the day. All eight of us were from the ship so there was no worry about getting back on time. The van was comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Fred did an amazing job telling us about the history and people of this region. We had two passengers who only spoke Portuguese so he actually translated twice! We stopped at Eze and climbed the hill with its quaint little shops and magnificent view at the top. Then on to the French perfume factory tour. After this we were on our way to Monaco. The views of the Cote d'Azur along the drive were beautiful. We got to spend about 90 minutes in Monte Carlo where we shopped and had lunch. I have to say that Monaco was the cleanest tourist city I have ever seen. We then stopped at the casino to have a look around and bagan the drive back to Cannes. Fred was a great host and noticed that lots of groups from our ship booked this company that day. I would not hesitate to book with LivenUp.fr again. Thank you, Fred, for a wonderful experience!
Our tour guide lived in Nice and was very knowledgeable about the entire region. We saw so many extra things not mentioned in the description! Great only having 8 people in the van. Very personal tour and our guide was delightful!
Just enough walking and sightseeing to keep everyone's interest. John did a great job showing us the sights and explaining the history. Form Monte Carlo to my favorite the town of Eze, the trip was one of our favorites.
This was one of our best tours mostly due to Marion, our guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly and so charming.
This tour was excellent, well organized and informative. Our guide I've forgotten her name but she was lovely and pregnant was fun, helpful, funny and well organized. I enjoyed the stop in Eze be prepared to walk up a hill and the Fragonard Perfume Factory. The trip to Monaco was excellent as our guide had so much information to tell us about the country. We drove all around the city and had about 1 hour to walk around near the palace and shops by our selves. We still had time to look around in Cannes because we were back early enough in the afternoon.
There are not enough words to describe this tour! Our guide Vince was phenomenal from the second he picked us up to the moment he dropped us off and every little detail in between. When we told him we were there celebrating our honeymoon he went out of his way to make sure we had the time of our lives and that we did. The drive through Nice, the village of Eze and time in Monaco leave you feeling like you are in a whole other universe! It was the perfect amount of time in each stop and a wonderful way to enjoy the South of France. Thank you Vince!
Could not have been much better. Our driver was able to get us close to where ever we wanted to
be, and pick us up at the time we were to meet him. many times getting to places with hard times getting close. This was important to us as our grand daughter is in a wheelchair and she was able to be involved in all we saw. Would be helpful if more bathrooms were handicap usable.
So happy we did this tour! Jenna our tour guide was so full of life and fun facts! Definitely, a nice way to see the French Riviera with so little time when taking a cruise.
