The day trip to Cairo by plane was so good. From the very beginning to the end, the whole team takes care of you. I especially want to thank Mr. Salah, he helped us a lot and was always there for us. The guest house with an amazing Pyramids view was amazing, the car we used during our trip was amazing, the lunch was amazing, the communication with the team was amazing. They were always reachable, if you need anything. Our guide was also one of the bests of the trip, Mr. Adam has so many things to share, so knowledgeable that you cannot believe. I would definetly recommend Marsa Alam Tours without a hesitation. Where to begin... first of all, the professionalism when booking this tour was first class, from first contact to drop off, it was perfect. Reham was our guide for the day, and my word, she was incredible. Her knowledge and passion for Egyptian History and Culture were awesome and inspiring, and her knowhow for the best photos in Cairo really added something special. Her English is perfect, and her knowledge even more so. Our driver Ahmed was also brilliant throughout the day. I cannot recommend this company enough, and would say request ReRe as your guide for THE best experience in Cairo. Thank you for an incredible day, memory, history lesson. ❤️The tour was good, especially the best part is our tour guide. Adam has so many knowledge to share. Flight was good, the offerings were good, the whole team takes care of you. I would definetly recommend 👍🏼

We booked this trip via the website but our booking wasn’t confirmed. When speaking to the customer service with Tasneem and Ahmed they helped us straight away! They organized the trip for us and since we landed in the night they also gave us access to a guest house. Which had lovely views over the pyramids! We did have a slight problem with arriving at the airport. Since the taxi driver wasn’t on our arrival terminal and only spoke arabic on the phone. Since we didn’t had a sim card it cost us a lot and eventually we asked someone to translate for us and the driver met us shortly after. The tour itself was great and our tourguide was lovely as well. He answered all our questions and made the tour very interesting! There were options to expand the tour but for us this was not necessary. We didn’t feel pushed to do any activity we didn’t like, which we did hear from a lot of other tours with unwanted visits to a papyrus shop etc. On top of that the tour was also private, this alone made our tour worth every penny! We would recommend this operator and in the future will book again with them if we are in Egypt! Our driver Mustafa and guide Mustafa were amazing. Our driver Mustafa and guide Mustafa were amazing. The driver collected us from the airport off the early flight and gave us time to get coffee, we then proceeded to negotiate the crazy streets of Cairo and his genius driving skills made it an unforgettable experience. Definitely keep your eyes open as you drive through to your first stop as some of the sights will leave you gobsmacked, things like construction workers atop a partially dismantled building knocking off blocks (literally hundreds of feet up) no hard hat or hi viz vest in sight - although i don’t suppose any of them will help with one false step !!!! The knowledge of the guide and how he made it a schedule that was tailor made to what we wanted made it even greater day. We didn’t want to do the bazaar’s as we had heard bad stories about them and after a 3am alarm for a 6am flight, by 4 o clock I don’t think I would have tolerated the pushy nature of the sellers, instead we stayed longer in the museum mainly because Mustafa our guide literally brought the place back to life and the enjoyment taken from his skill will last a lifetime. The day started with a trip to the great pyramid and we paid the additional cost to go inside, definitely worth it, but please be prepared for an assault course type ascent and descent. We then had plenty of time to take photos and were taken to access the pyramids from all angles to take further photos. From there we visited the Sphinx which leaves you awestruck at the craftsmanship if you consider when this was built. From there it was another interesting drive through Cairo to the papyrus institute and then a very grand family run perfumery. After a lovely barbecue style lunch in a lovely setting it was off to the Egyptian museum which is in downtown Cairo. I, once again cannot stress enough the skills of our driver but definitely take this in as it is an experience of a lifetime to be taken through these streets where normal road rules - I don’t think there is such a thing in Egypt - just go straight out of the window and you cannot help but laugh and be amazed. You could literally spend hours in the museum as there is so much to see and luckily our guide was more than happy to accommodate. We chose to end our experience with a Nile dinner cruise, which was a nice relaxing way to end the day seeing Cairo by night, maybe this was the only bit that was not worth the additional cost as the food was diabolical and it was probably only an hour instead of the advertised 2, but definitely a relaxing end to the day. Then it was back to the airport for a 10:30pm flight back to Sharm where our driver from 4am in the morning who collected us from the hotel was waiting to take us back, where we got back at about half past midnight. So, all in all an amazing experience, early start and late finish but our driver and guide were perfect and a 22 hour day to never forget !
