There was an extra charge because we were staying in Giza. This was not in the description. Found out after we booked and whoever we were texting through WhatsApp requested we pay the driver in US dollars, which we did not have. Since our reservation was for the same day we could not cancel and get a refund - so we had to deal with it. Upon arrival to the airport the driver asked us to wait until he spoke to this other person on the phone about our payment option (Egyptian pounds). Very annoying.britaing2020

We had the best driver he was so helpful and kind during our chaotic morning. Our flight was over a hour late and when we finally landed at around 3am and met the driver out front of the airport he was patient and kind from the start. Next we needed to find an atm and the driver took us to two different ones but we were having issues with our cards. He walked with us and stayed by us to make us feel safe in the area of the atm. But still respected distance when we used the atm. Next we were calling our airbnb multiple times trying to get a hold of the host. We found the location and the driver said he would go look for the apartment before to be sure which exact one it was because the host was still not responding. He came back to the transfer and told us he found it. The host still had not answered after multiple attempts the driver then started to call many times to help us out. We get to what was an abandoned building and tried knocking on doors and windows to see if anyone was inside. Our Airbnb ended up being a scam and we were left without a place to stay at 4am in a country we did not know. We saw some chain hotels nearby and the driver told us he could take us there. He took us there and walked us inside and helped speak to the hotel manger to find us a room. They only had one room left at a pricey rate where we would only be staying for a few hours. The driver then contacted his company to see if they could find us another hotel. But we just decided we were already here and had put him through enough already. He stayed with us until we got a room. I don’t remember his name (just because we had so much going on) but I know the company he worked for was Rimo tours. He was so helpful, kind and kept us safe. I can’t begin to express how grateful we were to have him as our driver and how patient and kind he was during our crazy morning. Thank you so muchCLIFFORD_H

There was some baggage delay by the airline and driver was patient enough to wait for us. Plus he was helpful with the luggage.

I booked an airport transfer from Cairo airport to hotel. 2 days before departure, I emailed Rimo Tour to request driver to contact me via WhatsApp, no response from Rimo. When contacted via WhatsApp, it uses chatbot which is of no use. I then contacted Viator via WhatsApp. Viator was very helpful and relayed my messages to Rimo. Finally driver contacted me. Unfortunately my plane was deplayed causing me to miss the connecting flight. Again, I informed driver about the new flight and driver replied that he would be there to pick up based on new flight. Disappointingly, I could not find the driver on arrival. I requested a local to call him as I did not have data, he told me the passenger he was waiting for was not me and that I should get a taxi to hotel on my own. After this experience, I feel it is easier and less stressful to just take a taxi rather than booking in advance. In fact, it is even cheaper and no worry in case of change in flight schedule.
