Pedro was amazing as a guide who enriched the entire experience with historical facts and personal anecdotes as a native of the area. The route was full of thoughtful planning (such as dropping us off at the top of hills instead of having the group walk up an hill incline and then the 577 step up to Bom Jesus). The included lunch was at a chosen restaurant which served tasty high quality food. The scenery was fantastic. Walking pace appropriate. There’s no way we could have accomplished so much on our own. Recommend! Our tour guide Mr. Ricardo speaks excellent English, has a profound knowledge about the places that we visited. He is very professional, courteous, and take very good care of us.
