This was the last thing we did on our week-long Algarve trip and it almost didn't happen (got cancelled twice in the preceding days because authorities closed all boat tours due to ocean conditions), and it was a suitable climax to our trip! Would recommend this as a must-do to all visitors if you want to see the spectacular caves up close and from a unique perspective, and would recommend Tridente/Viator/Tripadvisor in particular because both the boat navigation and commentary were excellent. The narrator also took great pictures of us in the Benagil Cave, which is the last cave on the tour.

Tridente Boat Tours did a phenomenal job on our boat tour of the Benagil caves from Armaçao de Pera. We started out meeting Catarina on the beach in front of Pedro's Bar. They have a shaded area to relax and take your shoes off before your tour. when it is time the boat driver and tour guide will help you put on your life vests. they had plenty for adults and children. Mine are six and 22 months. they bring the boat right up to the beach so it is only a few steps into the water to the boat. there were only two families on our tour so it was pretty close to a private tour. the other family was a family of four as well. on the boat ride to the benegal cave, the tour guides would give us information about the coastline and some of the history of Portugal as well as Armaçao de Pera. it was interesting, informative, and even entertaining. they took us to several other caves in addition to the Bengal cave. I definitely want to come back to some of these places with a kayak. the Bengal cave is always busy as it is the most spectacular cave on the coast. our guides had no problem navigating by other boats and kayak groups to come into the entrance so that we could take in the cave in all of its splendor, well as much as we could from the boat, as only kayaks can go onto the sand in the cave. we had enough time to take in the views, snap some photographs and take some video, then we were on our way back to the fisherman's beach in Armaçao de Pera. Easy drop off, gathering our socks and shoes, and we were on our way. Excellent, quick trip with very friendly staff! If you are visiting Armaçao de Pera or a nearby town in the Algarve, give this business a try. We think you'll love it!

It was a safe and very funny trip. Our gides were extremely friendly. We got a dolphin wiev for free. It was exactly 60 minutes. 100% recommend. #handsomeallert, #smash.

We loved this company and their tour. The Tridente team are young yet professional and took safety seriously. We saw gorgeous scenery while making us laugh. I highly recommend this company and 1 hour was more than enough. Also.. free parking was a bonus.

This trip exceeded our expectations! Boat captain Diajio was knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. His helper Gui was also great and spotted some dolphins for us. We also saw cormorants and got a ton of great photos. Fabulous day!

Absolutely must do tour! We did it with our 4 kids 9,7,5 and 3 and they all loved it! Wrap up if doing it outside of summer as it can be breezy. Very memorable experience thank you.

Great tour to see the caves and the coastline. Seats on the boat are comfortable and everyone is facing forward. Crew shared information at each cave we stopped at, pointed out specific rock formations and got us into as many caves as possible. I highly recommend this 1 hour tour!

We absolutely LOVED our boat tour with Tridente Boat Trips! We scheduled at the last minute during our stay in Alporchinhos, and they accommodated our request immediately. What an adventure!! We are active seniors, and the crew made it so easy for us to get on and off their tour boat, despite some large waves crashing onto the beach. The scenery we saw was all so spectacular - from sheer cliffs to charming churches to scary caves - that they zoomed right into!! Our crew was very nice and made us feel very safe. SO glad we took this size boat, as we saw a lot more than the larger ones could. Highly recommend this friendly, experienced tour company!!

100% amazing! Don't hesitate to book this tour! We booked the 9am tour and didn't see any other boats on the whole trip, except 2 kayakers at the last cave. Boat captain and 2 crew was amazing! What skill! They took us into caves with precision, expertise and FUN! Ibooked this because of Benagil cave, but there are others that I actually liked even better!! Low tide was great because some caves we went into aren't accessible at higher tides. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And don't forget to tip these guys!! They deserve it!
