The walking tour for the changing of the guard was great. We got a spot to view the procession. Julia the tour guide was very knowledgeable and provide great information about the history, the event and current events.

Julia (a Big Bus Tour guide) came on our bus at one of the stops and offered a walking tour to see the guard changes/Buckingham palace and more to anyone on the bus that wanted it . It as such a good decision to go, we had a lot of fun...

Big waste of time! Waited over an hour first time and no bus showed. Apparently pickup point was eliminated and brochure/map not updated. Went to different point blocks away for pickup. Tried again today and was at another designated pickup and bus slowed, but did not stop even though standing a few feet from stop. Second bus came by as we were at designated stop on info for nighttime tour. Driver said no longer this stop and had to go across river. Then drive off and left other people wanting to get on bus. Met other people that were told routes have changed because of Jubilee, but maps and brochure not updated. Driver said it was not his fault.The process to purchase the Big Bus Tour was so easy. The prices were great: 48 hours off & on, night tour and Thames River Cruise. The recording messages were enlightening and comical. We booked another tour in our next city.
