A historical landmark because here was shot the emperor Maximilian of Habsburg.

Stop At: Parroquia del Sagrado Corazon de Jesus Templo de Santa Clara, Jardin Guerrero 8, , Queretaro City 76000 Mexico

One of the greatest examples of the baroque, this nunnery was established in 1607, by don Diego de Tapia son of one of the founders of Queretaro.

Stop At: Palacio de Gobierno Casa de la Corregidora, Plaza de Armas, Queretaro City 76000 Mexico

A "must visit" place in the tour, this building works as the Governor´s Palace.
This is the place where doña Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez was imprisoned in 1810 and from here she wrote and send a letter to Captain Allende, doing possible the insurgent revolution against the Spanish crown.

The main square of the city, surrounded by beautiful baroque houses and nice restaurants, has a monument to Don Antonio de Urrutia y Arana, the Marquiz who sponsored the construction of the aqueduct.

Stop At: Santuario de La Congregacion de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, Pasteur, esq.16 de Septiembre, Queretaro City Mexico

You will fall in love with this beautiful church built in 1680; its facade, altarpieces, paintings, and pipe organ are awesome.
Here is venerate a painting of our lady of Guadalupe done by the famous colonial master Miguel Cabrera.

Pass By: El Acueducto De Queretaro, Queretaro City Mexico

Symbol of the city and proud of the people, this magnificent hydraulic work, was built from 1726 to 1738, by the Marquis Don Juan Antonio de Urrutia.
It is 1280 meters long with 74 arches, the tallest of them is 28 meters tall. let's drive it all its long, side to side.

Stop At: Templo y ex-convento de la Santa Cruz de los Milagros, Independencia s/n Jardin de los Fundadores. Barrio La Cruz. Centro, Queretaro City 76000 Mexico

According to the tradition this convent was built at the top of "El sangremal" hill, the place where Queretaro was founded on July 25 on 1531.
Come to stroll by its patios and corridors that remind us of the former evangelization by the Franciscans and let´s know the tree that blooms cross-shaped thorns.

Cancelled last minute by vendor. The require a minimum number of people but we’re not able to get it. It’s pretty easy to get local tour guides by checking around Plaza de Armas, where there is a tourist info office. Hope we can get a refund!!

This was an exciting, educational and fun trip. J. Jesus Rodriguez was a superb guide. He was knowledgeable, fun, amiable and extremely accomodating. Querataro was a beautiful town with lovely architecture and numerous churches that allow one to compare architectural styles and review history....

We were disappointed in this tour, inasmuch as many of the places that were on the itinerary -- two museums and the national theater -- were closed. And they've been closed for a long time due to Covid. Our tour guide said, "we'll need to cut the tour short"...we suggested we visit a winery on th...
