After one week of pool and beach we decided to learn more about the island. Therefore we booked the tour to visit Rhodes City and Lindos. The driver Agapitos picked us up on time from our hotel and a great journey across Rhodes started. We first visited Rhodes City. Agapitos drove us across the town, stopped at all important and interesting places and provided all background and history about the city. On our way to Lindos we stopped on great places to make panoramic photos. It turns out that Agapitos is not only a great tour guide he is also a great photographer. He made many nice photos of us in great locations and situations. Based on his recommendation we arrived early (before 09:00am) in Lindos ahead of all tourists busses. We had a relaxing 1 hour tour in the old town of Lindos and climbed the hill to the acropolis which provided a great view over the village and the bay. After some ice coffee’s we left Lindos as the first hundreds of tourists arrived… we also made some changes to the agenda and skipped the ceramic manufacturing location and decided to go to the seven spring’s instead. Great experience as well… during the entire tour we had a relaxing atmosphere, with a lot of talks about Rhodes history, but also about some private thing’s…. We arrived back after five hours on time at the hotel. It was a great tour with a great tour guide (Agapitos) in a nice and cool Mercedes Benz limousine…. We can recommend the tour and Agapitos as the tour guide…. We will come back and looking forward to the next tour…. Best Martin and AndreaGreat trip to visit the must-see places in Rhodes. Agapitos had a personal connection with various eateries. He had arranged a fantastic lunch at a beach front restaurant which had excellent Greek Cuisines. See attached picture His knowledge of the local customs and items for purchases such as pottery save a substantial amount funds.
