In the morning you’ll visit the major sights of Lisbon, including the historic Belem neighborhood, where you’ll see the Belem Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, and the Jeronimos Monastery, built after Vasco da Gama’s discovery of India in the late 15th century.
Afterwards, you’ll make a quick stop at the most famous pastry shop in Portugal, Pasteis de Belem, founded in 1837.
The tour then heads to central Lisbon, where you’ll admire Rossio Square and Commerce Square, and learn the history behind the Portuguese Inquisition of the 16th century.
After lunch, the afternoon part of the tour starts at Restauradores Square, and continues to explore the downtown area.
