Nick is an excellent tour guide. He was engaging, friendly, and very knowledgable. He remembered all the names of the people in our group which was impressive. He talked about Austin with passion and enthusiasm. The tour was great and I learned a lot about the city. Thank you!

We took the essential Austin, or best of Austin tour the day before the total eclipse as a family with a teenager. Our guide, Avery, was fantastic. She had amazing stories that she told us continuously throughout our time in Austin that were funny and factual. I watched how she looked out for a guest who was using crutches in a vigilant but super respectful way, pointing out all the accessible ramps and even pulling up to stops in a certain way to help her out. My teen was the only non-adult in our tour group, but never felt out of place, so the info and the jokes were hitting just right for all ages. This is a really great way to get an introduction to Austin and even Texas. After our tour, we knew what areas we wanted to revisit, and we learned a lot about the city and Texas in general we wouldn't have learned otherwise. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide Connor did all great job of making the trip interesting. His personal anecdotes made the trip fun . We saw parts of the city that we never heard of before Hannah made the whole trip come alive

Wow I am looking over all these positive reviews and i didn't have that experience AT ALL. Probably my experience is atypical as was on a group tour that employed this company for our Austin City Tour. We had Cliff for a guide. Unlike a couple other reviewers, he seemed really phony to me: pumped up enthusiasm seemed insincere in my opinion. We drove around and every thing he mentioned was GREAT gotta go see it later kind of thing. The extent of his vocabulary seemed about 100 words. Maybe that's his generation. The only place we stopped was the Capital. Looked like a fascinating building but we had about 10 minutes to go through and stand under the dome. Unlike some groups, we DID NOT get a photo of our group from the balcony. We rushed here, rushed there like we had all the time in the world to come back and see it on our own. Supposed to be 2.5hr tour lasted 2 hr max. The only things Cliff seemed to know anything about were food and music venues. Maybe that's all there is to Austin. No museums? no interesting buildings? Oh well. Then we finished 30 minutes early at a food court that didn't even open until 11am. Left me wondering what was the mad rush to get out of the Capital???

Meh - wanted to take a drive around town to see the major sites of interest, such as the capitol (which we did see) but also museums, university of Texas, etc. The double decker bus tour supposedly took you to these areas. This small van tour was mostly the guide driving around uninteresting parts of town that HE likes, talking mostly about food. He was congenial enough. If the guide introduced himself, neither my husband nor I caught his name. Know before you go: there is a parking lot across 4th street from the visitor’s center where you meet the guide …..DO NOT park there. Park in the building where the visitor’s center is located (which you access from a Side street). We’ll know next time, although I doubt I’ll be in Austin again. I wish we had taken the double decker bus, especially HOHO but this city was jam packed for some inexplicable reason and we couldn’t get a ticket.

I had prepaid the tour a week ago before I went to Austin, with no idea about how It was going to be. As a solo traveler, and as an introvert, I couldn't be more thankful for the staff at the convention center, and of course I couldn't be more thankful to Ike, our tour guide. Let me tell you guys, from the first moment we met, Ike treated me like long time friends. The tour itself is amazing, but with Ike it felt like a family trip. He was constantly trying to involve all of us into the conversation without making it awkward, and he has deeply knowledge about Austin's history, hot spots, curiosities and.. Dad jokes. If you ever go to Austin, this is a must for you to make your plans with knowledge about how the city works. And as a solo traveler, if you are doubting about being alone with couples and all that (like I did), don't worry. They got you. Big thanks also to the manager who receives emails. I asked her for information prior to the tour, and she was amazing.

I did not expect the tour to be so interesting. Ike made the tour personal and indicative of the lives of the citizens of Austin. There was a strong emphasis on food, culture, and the arts, not just monuments.

Nick took us to parts of Austin we may not have seen if not on this tour. And included history we did not know.

Our group of 6 friends booked this tour in 4/6/24. Cliff was our guide to various destinations around the city. Cliff was great, very funny and gregarious. I highly recommend asking for him, if possible. Bus was OK, but the a/c was LOUD in the rear. Luckily it was a cool spring day, so we were able to get by due to open windows! That helped a lot. Chris’s microphone and speaker were good. All in all a fun overview tour of the different parts of downtown Austin.

Very enjoyable way to get to see some of the highlights in Austin. Cliff, our driver/guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us many suggestions on what to do and where to eat during our stay. I recommend doing this the first day.

Trace is one of the best tour guides I have interacted with. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Austin but also had a pulse on what is currently happening in the city. He had my 8 y/o daughter involved with making a bingo game out of the tour which she loved. He also stopped at a local bakery and payed for everyone to get a macaroon.

The Austin city can tour was the best. It was a little over 2 hours due to downtown traffic but we got everything in, including a stop at the Capitol and a stop for a sweet treat next to the Welcome to Austin sign. AVERY MOORE WAS THE BOMB DIGGETY! Give that girl a raise! She knows her town and history and is a stand-up comedian to boot. I wish I could put her in my bag and take her around the rest of my trip to whisper all the tips and tricks to getting around Austin. I would totally use this company again!
