What to expect
Meet your guide outside Hotel Excelsior Splendid in Bellagio and enjoy our complimentary 5 minutes transfer to a charming hilltop restaurant with magnificent views over the lake and mountain.
Meet our professional chef Alessandro that will teach you all the tips & tricks to turn you into a regular pasta aficionado.
You will learn how to knead, roll and cut pasta into fettuccine and tagliatelle and fill perfectly delicious ricotta raviolis.
Alessandro will guide you through every step always using fresh, seasonal and healthy ingredients.
We like “La Dolce Vita”… So enjoy the experience … There’s plenty of time to relax and to learn to cook and speak some Italian with our new local friends.

We had a wonderful experience and our chef was incredible. We made delicious hand-made pasta with two different sauces and we made a superb tiramisu. However, it was more of a group cooking lesson in that we all had to take turns making the various items and the bulk of the experience was eating what we made. We cooked for perhaps 60 minutes which only included prep - we did not actually cook and serve the pasta. The meal was superb, the service excellent, but if you are looking for a cooking class where you get your own station and create the food from start to finish, this is not the experience. This experience is more about learning the basics and then enjoying a fantastic lunch with great service.The whole experience was excellent, we were treated well and learned a lot while enjoying Chef’s company (and the amazing view, better than any in the old city).

Alessandro was a great instructor. Super patient and kind. You meet outside a hotel at the bottom of the Bellagio city town area where a driver takes you up to a hill side resturant with an amazing view of the lake. You’re greeted with Prosecco and aprons in which you get to keep after! We learned how to make potato gnocchi and papadelle pasta and tiramisu. All the herbs are picked fresh from his garden out back. He even let us add fish to our meal. The small group was so fun. It seems to have lots of Americans. We enjoyed the view as he brought us a charcuterie board to nibble on while he split up the food to our plates. I definitely suggest the lunch slot as there’s no need to eat before or after this huge meal. You can bring additional wine in for your group or buy more wine/Prosecco/cocktails there. There’s a great terrace outside for photos and mingling too. Everyone was so kind and relaxed. It was a great way to learn to cook pasta and relax and enjoy the food!Our experience was fantastic even in the midst of thunder, lightning and pouring rain. Our experience was fantastic even in the midst of thunder, lightning and pouring rain. We were picked up promptly by Carlo and driven up winding roads to the hotel restaurant. It was closed for the day so we had it, and the amazing view, to ourselves. While not the stunning panorama it would be without the rain, it was moody and romantic. Chef Alessandro was friendly and patient and we made pasta and tiramisu from scratch and then he served us our handmade goodness. Finished off with limoncello and expresso (plus practicing our Italian!), this was a memorable experience that we would absolutely recommend.An overall awesome experience. An overall awesome experience. From start to finish, the staff made us feel like we were royalty. We started with a glass of wine on the patio with the incredible view of Lake Como below. Chef Alessandro came out to greet us and we could tell his passion for good food and great experience right away. The pasta and sauce making itself was a blast and Chef gave us tips that we can use at home. We then were seated at a corner table in the restaurant and were brought appetizers and wine while Chef Alessandro prepared our freshly made pasta dishes. The food was incredible. Highly recommend this experience!
