Thank you so much for the great tour, Marti! We were lucky enough to be a very small group of only five people and got a special and personal insight into life in Belfast during the troubles and today. The tour made my stay in Belfast very unique and the focus on the murals was something different to standard tours. Marti also gave great tips for the best photo motives and good pubs which definitely paid off. The weather was excellent too and I can recommend the tour to anyone visiting Belfast (make sure to wear comfy shoes as it is quite a bit of walking around the city). It was a lovely experience! Marty, who was our tour guide was very friendly and helpful. Showed us around the local area with informative details of murals, gave us useful tips and professional at his job. We all enjoyed the tour!

Marty offered a gritty tour about Northern Ireland and it's difficult history but the tour was centred around hope and closing divisions through murals and art on street walls. Marty was passionate about this and this was obvious . He was very knowledgable indeed. The tour is fairly fast paced so one needs to be reasonably fit . It's not a tour that will make you feel comfortable as you are made very aware of the violence and hostility that occurred but in my opinion if you go to Belfast this is what you should learn about as part of your holiday. Belfast offers so much and is up and coming but you can't ignore the troubles. If you want something authentic this is the tour for you.My friend and I really enjoyed this trip as Marti, our tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the city especially with the story behind the murals and also the artists who drew and painted the murals (he practically gave us a whole brief, yet detailed history in regards to "the tro...
My friend and I really enjoyed this trip as Marti, our tour guide is very passionate and knowledgeable about the city especially with the story behind the murals and also the artists who drew and painted the murals (he practically gave us a whole brief, yet detailed history in regards to "the troubles"). He is also very entertaining as he will be actively engaging us with conversations throughout the tour. If you really wanna get some good photos for the murals, this is the tour that you wouldn't wanna miss because Marti is very good at providing you with a good angel to get the perfect photos for different murals. The street arts were absolutely stunning!!!!!Marty, the guide was phenomenal! Very passionate about the city and comprehensive on his tour. He didn't have to come on Christmas but he did! Looking forward to seeing him again maybe in the summer for another on of his tour!
