What to expect
Full Day Rock Climbing Itinerary
7.30- 8 AM hotel pick up (optional)
8.30 AM meet at Real Rocks shop for check in and gear fitting
Transfer by taxi and long tail boat to Railay Beach (for customers on mainland only)
9.00 AM-1.00 PM climbing at one or both locations on the beach
1:00-2:00 PM break for lunch (on your own)
2:00-5:30 PM afternoon rock climbing session + caving & abseiling from the Railay viewpoint
5.30 PM return to shop, return gear, end of full day climbing activity
6.00 PM return to Ao Nang or Krabi town

It was great! Everyone new to climbing should try it and if you hate it just stay and enjoy the amazing beaches nearby! Literally the coolest beach I've been to in my life is right nearby (west railway I think, where the caves with the religious offerings are). If you're somewhat experienced you'll have a total blast. I've been climbing in gyms for 2-3 years and have been outside a few times. Then did two days lead climbing with a friend and a guide around the Krabi / railway beach general area. Went in early June which is rainy season and it was totally fine. It seems to rain really hard once and a while for up to two hours and then the rest of the day is good. We had one day only a brief shower day 1, pouring rain in morning then cloudy (went kayaking instead) day 2, then a beautiful sunny day all day day 3. However new or experienced if you are flexible with route choice the guides know what areas won't get wet. They have an amazing section of easy to hard climbs all under an epic overhang 40 meters up that stay dry. The lead climbing and instruction were great. We learned how to set up top ropes after leading routes and how to rappel. It's such an amazing place it's hard to describe. If you are experienced ask them to take you to a few different areas to lead and definitely check out the cave you rappel out of. It was insanely cool.Of my 5 days in Krabi, this was my favourite! Of my 5 days in Krabi, this was my favourite! Everyone at Real Rocks is friendly and welcoming, whether or not they are your guides. My team and I also appreciate our guides, Jammy & Po, for being very patient and encouraging towards us throughout the tour. They were very fun to be around and we felt safe with their knowledge & experience. It is not easy to manage a group of 5 but both Jammy & Po gave us all a memorable experience. Will definitely climb with Real Rocks again, someday. Thank you so much for the adventurous experience!A must do in Krabi! My first time rock climbing, was super nervous but managed to get almost to the top! Big thanks to our guide Neil who we ended up doing a private caving tour with him later that afternoon :)

Never climbed before only in the gym but felt in safe hands throughout, climbed some amazing cliffs and the views were breathtaking! The staff spoke great english and a good laugh, would definitely use this company again.

Hi! Firstly, taking this package is seriously one of the best attraction that I will never regret. It's packed with many activities that will just make you awestruck from the start till the end. The majestic view of the scenery cannot be simply described by words. If you really want to have a taste of how it feels like; do book this attraction without any hesitations :D The staff Jammy and Po at Real Rocks is amiable. They are easy to approach and is equipped with both knowledge and skills to make our climbing experience a better one. The interaction and funny antics which they display never fails to amuse us too. Also, the transition of the whole programme was delivered well too. This include getting the right size of harness, shoe size etc. The instructions was also fluent and they are attentive to the safety of the participants as well. In a nutshell, everything is great and fun! FYI: Climbing visit is dated on 19th Apr 2018.
