Beaufort's National Historic Landmark District, the second oldest city in South Carolina, delights its visitors with breathtakingly beautiful natural vistas and impressive architecture from the Colonial and Antebellum Eras. The town of Beaufort is located on the island of Port Royal and is called the Queen of the South Carolina Sea Islands due to its charm, natural beauty, fascinating history, and richly diverse cultural heritage.
On this tour we will spend around 2 hours exploring the historic district. Enjoy refreshments, tales and songs of history from guides dressed in full period costumes. Get a close look at our homes, architecture, church yards, and plant life. Listen to beautiful songs of a bygone era as we stroll through the streets. See 19th century photos of the houses and compare them to the current structures!

Stop At: Beaufort, Beaufort, South Carolina

On this tour we'll spend about 2 hours exploring Beaufort's historic district. Enjoy refreshments, tales and songs of history from guides dressed in full period costumes.
• Get a close look at colonial, federal, and antebellum homes, architecture, church yards and plant life. 
• Listen to beautiful songs of a bygone era as we stroll through the streets.
• See 19th century photos of the houses and compare them to the current structures.
• The Historic District Walking Tour covers an East side route of the Old Point area or a West side route of the Bluff area. Both routes include the Colonial and Antebellum Periods with 19th century photos and guides in period dress.Staring Location is 103 Charles St. Ext.
