Our tour guide was Thirry. He had an excellent command of the history not only regarding the airborne troops but also the landing beaches. He also made several stops to show us the actual locations where scenes from the book and movie actually took place as well as the key landing beaches and the American cemetery overlooking Omah Beach. He has a real passion for understanding the history and communicating it effectively to everyone on the tour. His presentation includes charts and photos adding further details to his commentary. His tour was informative and memorable. My wife and I highly recommend Thirry as your guide for this tour and the Band of Brothers Tour.frank_m

Spend a day with guide Yannick and he was SO knowledgeable that you dwelt on every word. The pace was perfect and standing alongside the actual hedgerow where Winters became a legend was moving as was the US cemetery - even for an Australian. Easily a 9/10 experience.
