An amazing day on the Balsa! This is a well run organization. Elvis was our guide. He was fun and knew the river well. The whole staff was great. We were treat like guests. As a side note. It was clear that it was safety first.

Our 6 year old son was initially extremely nervous about white water rafting. When our van guide, Imanol, caught wind of his discomfort, and realized we might not be able to make it, he went out of his way to accommodate us. He told my son he would be safe with him, and quickly made arrangements to be our rafting guide! Amazing! My son felt so safe, honestly, we all did. Imanol has the heart of GOLD and a keen eye for taking great care of people. Another gentleman in our group had some neurological disabilities, and required extra help. Imanol cared for him as well, keeping a hand on him through the rapids. We had so much fun, and it has set us up for success with future rafting endeavors. Fantastic experience! Wild, yet safe! We had our 6 year old with us, and all of us greatly enjoyed the ride! And our guide, Imanol, took amazing care of us. Our son was initially scared to go, and Imanol, who my kid liked a lot, changed into water clothes and volunteered to be our guide to help him feel safe. That was not part of his job, but he did this for us, and made it all work. We couldn’t have done this without him. What an amazing human being! He helped make lifelong memories.

Imanol was amazing with my husband who has limited use of his legs and was incredibly anxious about participating. After a few minutes, my husband relaxed because Imanol had his back!!

Imanol was amazing, helped my disabled father the whole time and made it very enjoyable for everyone! Lots of laughs and smiles on everyone’s faces

I will admit I was scared but once we got on I loved it!Juan helped us in the beginning and taught us the commands. Once we started our guide was Erick.Erick was great he made me feel very safe. We had a very fun time and really recommend.Pura vida!

My boyfriend and I decided to do this excursion. I’ve never been water rafting but after doing this one I can’t wait to do it again! It was so fun and the lunch they provided was so good. The scenery was beautiful and our tour guide was friendly and fun. I 100% recommend. They also provided some different types of fruits which were delicious.

Great adventure! Carlos Rosales was a great water guide. It was kinda intense but definitely worth it The food and for was great!

Roberto is clearly their most boisterous gide. He spun us in circles, bumped us into things, and teased us relentlessly. He was a hoot. He's also very knowledgeable on Wildlife and one of their more talented paddlers.

Pura Vida, so fun and memorable! Lots of waves and wildlife, fresh fruit snack and then a delicious meal back at La Fortuna Basecamp. Very friendly, funny and took great care for all of us!

Carlos(chino) was amazing, he made the whole ride truly enjoyable. He also took one for the team, which was massive. Will definitely do it again.

A great day of rafting with Jason as a guide who did everything to make our experience go as well as possible. We had a 6 year old daughter who was a little scared at the beginning but he managed very well and we had a wonderful experience for him. Perfect day. Gracias Jason.

It was such a great time with Alejandro Fox. Very good experience. We ate fruit on the way, see some animals, the activity was very fun ! I highly recommend.
